Pretty cool tribute for the 40th anniversary - I liked seeing the Prime gang in anime form.

Depending on continuity now, Megs has reformed his ways. 

In the IDW comics he goes as far as switching sides and becoming an autobot

In the latest cartoon, I think he is still a Deception, but has gone his separate ways from the main faction.

and I think megatron makes a human friend or some BS thing like that....I dunno, Earthspark is weird and is a lil woke for me so I don't really care to watch it, plus I'm not keen on the character designs and animation, sorta why I don't even bother with RID, not into the look.

I managed to score SS86 Optimus yesterday, pretty smart engineering on this figure! Sure, I don't like the kibble compressing backpack at all, but at least he's not flat and bare backed like other figures tend to make him. I think my only complaint is that the trailer hitch is terrible! It's really loose in comparison to the ER version maybe, it's been years since I even transformed that particular figure so I can't really recall, but I just know I don't like how it feels. And rather bummed out again on the trailer just being molded plastic and no color separation or neat panel details and colors inside when you tear it open into the repair bay. I would have liked something to go with it for all that money.

I gave up on Earthspark. They start by showing you an interesting premise- the war is over, and the Autobots and humans formed a joint organization to police Cybertronian activity. They open with cool characters... Optimus Prime, Elita One, Swindle, Megatron... Then immediately abandon all that to focus on a cast of original robots with personality disorders who live in secret with three of the worst human characters the franchise had seen so far (the mom is pretty cool, so she gets a pass). Every now and then they'll cameo more interesting Autobots or Decepticons, but the main baddies in the show are the director of the ostensibly good human/Autobot alliance and a mad scientist. It's ultimately frustrating because the bones of something good are there, but the writers are basically constantly saying, "who cares about your favorite Autobots and Decepticons, focus on our original fanfic characters!” as if the producers assembled their writing team from Sonic Deviantart pages.

Do you plan on getting the Reprolabels set for him?

And yeah; I couldn't even bring myself to consider watching Earthfart.

maybe the trailer decals to help that interior on the next paycheck, right now I can't cause I blew everything on him, Stellarus and Frenzy...wish they had Rumble where I got him, hell even wanted Gears but they didn't have him at the store, somewhere in the warehouse instead.
