VF5SS Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Bandai may just issue a new codpiece to buyers like how they issued entire White Dingo GM Sniper 2s because of joint problems. Quote
Graham Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Still no news about shipment of my VF-25F super parts. I guess a lot of companies may ship them out late because of the Golden Week holiday. Never a huge fan of the VF-25G, so not going to play the preorder game. If I see one in a shop for a reasonable price (ha ha ha), I may pick one up. If not, no big loss. Graham Quote
Reïvaj Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I am so confused as to why they didn't paint the crotch piece like in the promo shots. Which promo shots? The crotch pice looks just the same IMO... Swoosh Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Got a message from the shop that I have pre-ordered this, still thinking if I should pick it up tonight... Quote
Phalanix Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Such a pretty bird - got shipping notification of my 25F super parts too, too bad Japan is on holidays and shipping will be delayed. =P Quote
Dobber Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 (edited) Great pictures Swoosh, thank you. Love the profile shot, nice and sleek! Ar the Packs difficult to attach and do they stay on well? Chris Edited April 30, 2012 by Dobber Quote
David Hingtgen Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 They really, really need to re-release Alto's valk... Quote
Rabidweezil Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 doesn't the 1/72 model kit fast-packs come with the same dull grey crotch piece? Quote
CF18 Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 doesn't the 1/72 model kit fast-packs come with the same dull grey crotch piece? It got stickers for coloring the left and right side. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10082659t3/60/3 http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10082660t2/60/2 Quote
Archer Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I'm unfamiliar with the -25 super pack design. When transforming to fighter mode, where does the new crotch armor go? Quote

Swoosh Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 Great pictures Swoosh, thank you. Love the profile shot, nice and sleek! Ar the Packs difficult to attach and do they stay on well? Chris Easy to attach, all stay on good except the armor that cover the intake, it pops off easily during transforming or posing it. Quote
Swoosh Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I'm unfamiliar with the -25 super pack design. When transforming to fighter mode, where does the new crotch armor go? It goes exactly where the naked one goes, they are about the same size on this renewal version and it is NOT an add on part. Quote
Murphy Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 how does the missile packs on the shoulders connect? Quote
Swoosh Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 (edited) how does the missile packs on the shoulders connect? It comes with a new panel that has swing arms and missile pack already attached. Side skirt, should panel and crotch needs to be swap with the new part with armor. Edited May 1, 2012 by Swoosh Quote
Chronocidal Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Easy to attach, all stay on good except the armor that cover the intake, it pops off easily during transforming or posing it. Ok, honestly. You'd think they'd be able to figure this one out by their THIRD try at making the intake armor. The updated armor that came with the blue Alto wasn't that bad, I thought it actually stayed on decently compared with the first version. I guess the question is, is this better or worse than the fixes they applied to the later v.1 super pack hip armor? Also, I'm curious, does the hip armor snap on over the intake covers, or do you need to remove those to attach the armor? That might be part of why they fall off easily, because while my Alto's covers stay in well, Ozma's fall out if you look at them sideways. Quote
Lolicon Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Looks great! Guess it's time to crack open 25F #2... Quote
UN Spacy Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 I also like the number of molded missiles. On the original DX Super Parts there were WAY too many in there. Quote
ron5864 Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 The color on the Ver 2.0 super pack is much better and not as blue as the first version. Quote
Save Posted May 1, 2012 Posted May 1, 2012 Anybody received any payment request or shipping notification for the Super Parts yet? Haha, it's been so long since I pre-ordered, I forgot which company I ordered from. Gotta dig through my email. Graham You got it through us, got the stock in today since we've been out of the office due to so many Macross events.
