That black gun is the creme de la creme! This is why its the best 25 after Ozma :)

Usual stuffs - pilot, stands for 3 modes, different fists, knife, gunpod and extra hard antennae

but nothing special for it?.. like how the 25f got alto flight suit figure , 25g got the grappling hooks ..

I can't recall the RVF-25 CF, but there are 2 RVF-171, the CF and Lucca's RVF-171 EX. So there you have 2. Plus the YF-25. I don't think will see a YF-24 any time soon.

Definitely, the vf-25 mold has become to Bandai what the vf-1 mold for Yamato/Arcadia. They can keep on releasing new schemes and re-releases that we will keep on buying them.

RVF-25 is coming now in November. source: http://www.tamashii.jp/item_brand/dx_chogokin/

Nevermind... it looks like it's only the Super Parts for the already released RVF-25.

Haha yeah the superparts are due out in NOV. mine are already paid for.

The RVF-25 came out months ago.

There is more to it than that since the different units have different chest plates and backs to accommodate the different heads. Also the VG-25G has a different gun mount than the other four VF-25s

Just got my 25A. I was surprised it was as green as it was. The prototype pics never really gave much sense of the end color. TCracker's pics were actually closer to how it appears with having a greenish tint to it.

So I'm trying to find a Tamiya paint color that's closest to the darker color on the nose and tail fins. Olive Drab perhaps?

Oh no! I was hoping not the green... I was hoping more towards the grey less saturated range. Darn it. I should get mine in a few weeks (registered SAL) - maybe we can use some grey in the weathering to tone it down, and the matte/flat finish helps to lighten it up (that's what I did with my RVF-25 to take the minty curse off of it). I was thinking grey stripes maybe - it does look a little too naked (its in that reference anime shot). What will you do with yours MJ?

I'm going to paint mine up more like the scheme shown in the tv episodes with a stripe near the leading edge of the wings and the "V" stripes along each side of the cockpit. The green isn't too strong at least. It's more or less like that screenshot I posted earlier. The stripes are more like olive drab than brownish though.

Really? It's more green? Dammit.

Depends on your light source. Natural sunlight tends to make it brown as does a brighter incandescent. Under fluorescent or those newer energy saving bulbs, I noticed its greenish.

Good, was thinking the same thing as I looked at the pictures you initially posted. Yours appeared to have been taken in natural sunlight and look more brown whereas TCracker's first set(s) were under artificial lighting and have the green hue that everyone is noticing.

Either way I'm still happy to have made the purchase, can't wait for mine to arrive so that I can judge the color in person.

For those curious -

Here it is under a neutral white light (5000k):

The white is white and the body is slightly green tinged.

Here it is under a "soft white" incandescent light:

The white is more orange hued and the body is closer to beige.

Well I saw HLJ has a few in stock after preorders, so I caved and got one. I know if I missed out I would regret it. This is definitely my last valk from Frontier.

I hope it looks better in person myself. I have one in LA still.... and my other 2 from HS and HLJ shipped out today. I wonder why the lighting affects this one so much.

i had a J.Crew Jacket like that. under fluorescent lights it would look black and under a softer standard bulb it would be brown.

I think that it's like it was with the VF-171 where under certain lighting it looked light green and not the beutiful teal that it should have.

So install soft white incandescent lighting in your display cases and not the energy saving ones or your valkyrie won't look right. :p
