Guest davidwhangchoi Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 How do you know? I'm interested i'm not trying to be sarcastic and i don't work for Bandai, but you're asking if i know for sure they will re-release the vf-25s, and the answer is "yes." based on the re-releases so far. i would compare the question to "Will Arcadia re-release other vf-1' s in the future after the vf-1s roy and hikaru?" CRYO Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 Wow, so nice bandai had really increased their production quantity. Looking forward for the 25S reissue , and any possible 25S amored package or 25F/G tornado package. Quote

That's the thing. Bandai are completely random. And also the VF-1s have a track record of being classics, and have been reproduced for the last two decades, but I'm not sure how far Bandai will support the Frontier series. I remember how some thought they wouldn't do renewals of the valks...me included. Lets just hope the continued valk sales are satisfactory to let us get all the way to a DX Macross Frontier and Galaxy. I'm about to pull the trigger on another 25G tomorrow Quote
TCracker Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 for the sake of the collectors, I hope they do. Quote

I'm about to pull the trigger on another 25G tomorrow though we can always argue "you never know until it happens..." it's actually not completely random. the release dates may be unpredictable but the order of releases generally have a pattern if you take a look at the tamashii nations site itself http://www.tamashii.jp/item_brand/dx_chogokin/ you can see their has been a scheduled release history starting with the renewals. you'll notice also a ramp up in production and number of release frequency has increased to monthly. Every month since april has been new a release. so it's not a matter of if but the schedule is so packed with releases each month, bandai is trying to pace the releases not to have too many at one time so it's just a matter of timing and fitting in which month to release the 25S Quote
grymg Posted August 20, 2013 Posted August 20, 2013 http://www.tamashii.jp/item_brand/dx_chogokin/ That is a nice list on the Tamashii site. Is there one that shows the tamashii exclusives also? For example it's missing the VF-25F v1 super parts, VF-27 Grace. Quote
skullmilitia Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 When's the next big announcing of product? I'm still waiting for the SOC shuttle reissue. Probably same day as something Frontier I'll need. Yikes! Quote
3D-Brainx Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 I think last year was October. Bandai announced the RVF-25 renewal, the Super VF-27, the VF-171 CF and the Monster Vajra (which never came) Come on Bandai, we need a RVF-171 Luca! Quote
wm cheng Posted August 21, 2013 Posted August 21, 2013 renewal VF-25S first, Bandai. Please. YES! Quote

Loop Posted August 22, 2013 Posted August 22, 2013 Yeah I seriously need at least 1 more 25S, but am aiming for 2. Quote
Guest davidwhangchoi Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 my 25F came from otacute today. man, they packed the box well. Quote
Scyla Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I was wondering how stable the stand for the VF-25S Armored Messiah really is. I'm planning to display it on a high spot and fear that the Valkyrie might slip from its stand and fall down and shatter into thousand pieces. The stand seems to be pegged in really well but better save than sorry I guess. Quote
Duymon Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 (edited) The 25S is very stable provided you use the supplied connector which actually pegs into the stand-friendly crotch piece. Mine hasn't toppled in a year Of course, things could be different if you have kids or are prone to bump your display shelf. On a side node, I WISH the alto parts had come with an extra sniper rifle Edited August 24, 2013 by Duymon Quote
Stark1975 Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I was wondering how stable the stand for the VF-25S Armored Messiah really is. I'm planning to display it on a high spot and fear that the Valkyrie might slip from its stand and fall down and shatter into thousand pieces. The stand seems to be pegged in really well but better save than sorry I guess. I've got armor parts on my 25F in fighter mode on the stand. The main armature does wobble a little side to side when I walk by the shelf, but I'm not worried that it's going to fall. The normal fighter stand part kinda pegs into the front of the fighter in two places on each side of the fuselage. The armor comes with a different adapter that pegs into the fighter in three places. So, I'm not worried at all that the fighter is not attached to the stand. The other modes should be equally stable, the battroid especially so with the center of gravity lower due to the heavy legs and armor. Quote
Scyla Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Thank you for the quick replies. I think it will be pretty stable but I remember a video review of the V1 Armored Messiah that slipped from its stand during the review so I'm cautious about the V2 especially since it is Ozmas plane. And I should specified that the question was aimed at the Fighter-Mode. In addition the display place is not in a cabinet so if it gets windy in my flat the wind might get a grip onto the Valkyrie and shake it a little bit. Quote
Loop Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I have yet to have my Armored 25-S slip from it's stand. Every now and again it will sway a bit if I walk by it too hard, but it has been very secure for me. Quote

TCracker Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 should be fine. my armored ozma is chilling at the top of my 5 foot display cabunet with 30th anniversary yf29 for ages. only thing that irked me was the dust. Quote
Bahamutzyro Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 (edited) messing around with alto, put some ozma armor on him since i dont have the alto super parts yet lol Edited August 26, 2013 by Bahamutzyro Quote
Bahamutzyro Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 i actually think the darker color ozma armor looks better then the lighter blue Quote
Benson13 Posted August 26, 2013 Posted August 26, 2013 Ozma anything makes the other valks look better, it's like having a beard. Quote
Mommar Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Beards give me a rash... therefore Ozma sucks? Quote
Duymon Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 It's ridiculous how crazy the after-market has become for the 25F and S armor / super parts. I ended up securing a 2nd armor ozzy armored parts for 178 shipped :*( Quote

Scream Man Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 This conversation got very strange. (Also please re-release Ozma). Quote
