Black Valkyrie Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 My condolences to his family, I think thank him for those outstanding art designs, that inspired the greatest movies of all time. He'll be missed.
electric indigo Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Farewell to the creator of icons of Science Fiction.
miriya Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 It is so amazing that his art and designs have touched so many people on such a deep level. How many people have seen star wars and like me seen it over and over and over again for most of my life. The imagery is almost a part of my inner makings and in such a good way. Thank you Ralph for so much beauty!
taksraven Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 RIP indeed. His work had a MASSIVE influence on all SF after ANH. A true legend.
Black Valkyrie Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 The scary thing is that before he passed away, a day before I was watching the first original ESB trailer with his designs in it and it happen also when Kershner passed away, a day before I watching ESB .
big F Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 His work was inspirational and at the same time a bench mark for others to try and reach, his style of work is evident everywhere. RIP and thanks for everything.
