80scollector Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Just a quick question. Does the 1/60 VF-1D version 1 come with those small panels that cover the gun-handle groove/peg on the left/right arms? I know the VF-1D Version 2 comes with those panels and they're large "L" shaped panels that clip onto the arms. I'm even more confused because the panels that would cover the version 1 VF-1D look like they're more square-like and significantly smaller than the version 2 covers. Anyone have a version 1 VF-1D with these "covers"? I just want to know if Yamato included them with the version 1 VF-1D. Thanks Quote
eugimon Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 the covers only came with the ver 1 toys. None of the v2 vf-1 variants have them. Quote
Rabidweezil Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 The only V1's that came with the arm covers were ones that did not have collapsible gun-pod handles. I believe the Hikaru 1J was the last to have them. And I'm pretty sure the VF-1D came later so it should not have the covers. Quote
jenius Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 It does not have forearm filler pieces. The 2 seaters all had the collapsible guns as did all super and gbp variants. Quote

Hikaru 1J super did not have the collapsible gun and did have the arm covers on both it's arms and Fast-Pack arm armor. But that was the only Fast-Pack type that was set up that way. Quote
80scollector Posted February 20, 2012 Author Posted February 20, 2012 Thanks for the info all. I bought a used VF-1D version 1, which is my first Yamato valkyrie. The parts bag was opened and was missing those two fillers. I was thinking maybe the seller sold me an incomplete item. Quote
Benson13 Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 That sucks. Nothing is worse than having to hunt for pieces. Quote
