UN Spacy Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 I loved the original. Gotta say I'm more excited about this than Bourne Part IV.
areaseven Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 The first film was okay, but it reminded me too much of Commando.
reddsun1 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 (edited) I liked the first one as well. Definitely a feel-good movie for dads. But a sequel? Ain't really feeling it... ed: but as for Liam Neeson? "2 tears in a bucket, f*#k it--it's a paycheck!" Edited February 15, 2012 by reddsun1

badboy00z Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Instead of Taken 2 they should have named it Took. lol
Graham Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I haven't played Teken in years, used to enjoy it. Graham
Mog Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Shouldn't it be called "Taken. . . .Again"? Was pleasantly surprised with the first one. Hopefully, this one will be just as entertaining.
areaseven Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 So let's get this straight: In Taken, they take his daughter. Then in Taken 2, they take his ex-wife. What are they gonna do in Taken 3? Take his mother?
eugimon Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 I heard it was going to be they take his prized tea cup yorkshire terrier.
Funkenstein Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Taken 2: Far Taken 2: Extremes Taken 2: The Limit This is like a goldmine of movie names.
reddsun1 Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 Then in Taken 2, they take his ex-wife. Hah! I thought the point of a kidnapping was to take someone that they would want back!
dizman Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 So Liam Neeson wants to just do cheesy action movies now? Taken 2: Taken Harder
Ghost Train Posted June 25, 2012 Posted June 25, 2012 When it's the daughter that's taken: it's your own flesh and blood so you use every black-ops skill to do whatever it takes to get her back. ... when it's the ex-wife: meh... just leave it to the local cops, they're experienced in this sort of thing!
Mog Posted June 26, 2012 Posted June 26, 2012 I'm sure the ex-wife can channel her inner Onatopp and kill her captor with her vice-like thighs. Or she can go full-Phoenix Force on 'em and turn them into crispy fritters.
Zor Primus Posted June 29, 2012 Posted June 29, 2012 Taken 2...I don't always kidnap women, but when I do...
Uxi Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 I rolled my eyes at first, but seems like it could work and the bad guys might want revenge. you think they wouldn't be that stupid, though.
areaseven Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 Not looking good before its premiere. Rotten Tomatoes Rating: 11%
mikeszekely Posted September 27, 2012 Posted September 27, 2012 I heard it was going to be they take his prized tea cup yorkshire terrier. Yeah, they kinda made that movie, except it's a Shih Tzu. And it looks better than Taken 2.Seven Psychopaths.
areaseven Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 This is just too awesome. Even Neeson himself loves it.
Agent ONE Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 I liked it, but it wasn't nearly as good as the first. There were some serious holes in the plot also.
Ivan Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Apparently you can go around blowing stuff up in Instanbul and no one would give a damn...
myk Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 So many things wrong with this movie, lost track of it all. With all due respect Liam Neeson is starting to rack up some bad films on his resume...
GU-11 Posted October 17, 2012 Posted October 17, 2012 Apparently you can go around blowing stuff up in Instanbul and no one would give a damn... Should have set the movie in Afghanistan; they're so used to explosions that you could set off a half-ton of C4 five feet away, and you couldn't get the camels to flinch.
slaginpit Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Apparently you can go around blowing stuff up in Instanbul and no one would give a damn... Here is another thing Why is that shot on the roof scene used in every friggen movie!!! It was used in that Banker Conspiracy movie.-Forgot its name Then the last bond movie and now Taken; for a ride, A lesson on how to get your drivers licence
Major Focker Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 it was also in "The International" movie starring Clive Owen, and in probably a lot more movies both recent and old. the roof of the Grand Bazaar has been a staple for cinematographers for decades. i can understand why film makers are drawn to it. the Grand Bazaar is as iconic of Istanbul as its famous mosques, and for good reason: the rooftops are an exotic landscape with a breathtaking skyline/backdrop, and something difficult to get in-frame if shooting at ground level, considering how dense Istanbul is. so asking why the Grand Bazaar roof is in a lot of films is like asking why many movies are shot in Central Park, or Grand Central Station, or in and around the Vatican, or the Eiffel Tower. it's just a shame that this movie sucked big time.
