Dynaman Posted February 10, 2012 Share Posted February 10, 2012 I don't know if this should be under the remake category, but I just saw that Space : 1999 is getting a remake set 100 years later. I'm looking forward to this one, just like the original BSG, Space 1999 suffers from the time it was made (many of the plots are horrible!). The concept of the show and the model work was first class though. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/space-2099-television-remake-288601 Although most of the original plots were bad, and the acting wooden (especially Barbara Bain), there were a couple of standout episodes. First was the pilot, next was one where aliens were attacking with Earth Like ships (later shown to be just hallucinations), and the last was the alien tentacle creature - that episode creeped me out when I was a kid.
