nightmareB4macross Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Because it needs to be detroyed by Guld. Quote
Kurisama Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 deadly to a bunch of stationary VF-11 drones Was more than enough of a challenge to BOTH the YF-19 and YF-21... and even then Guld died taking it out - C'MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN. Galaxy's V-9's also tore Frontier's defenses. At the end of the day I love the design. Quote
VF5SS Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 It took pot shots at them and barely singed the YF-19's wingtip. C'mon mang, it just exists so Guld doesn't die by the space carrier hands of the Macross. Cuz that'd be awkward for the sequels :x Quote
505thAirborne Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 I've always wanted a QF-3000E Ghost, Bring it Yamato!!! Quote
Reïvaj Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Haha, best quote of the day so far. Can I put that in my signature? Really made me chuckle reading it. Graham Of course! Quote

Vifam7 Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 (edited) want! just hoping Yamato ain't gonna go the expensive HDP-route on us with them. Sorry guys. It's planned as a garage kit. Which probably means resin. Also, it doesn't seem to be Yamato but a company called MEF. Edited January 30, 2012 by Vifam7 Quote
Renato Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Sorry guys. It's planned as a garage kit. Which probably means resin. I doubt it would be HDP because these will probably be quite small and there really are no moving parts, so there is no need for it. Quote
Sebastian Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Sorry guys. It's planned as a garage kit. Which probably means resin. Also, it doesn't seem to be Yamato but a company called MEF. Good, so Yamato can focus on more interesting stuff. That is a really simple design, I really hope some transformable surprises from Yamato. Quote
IScustom Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Any idea of a scale? Actually I have the query, and I think 99% the SF-3A is in 1/60 scale. Quote
Valkyrie Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 This is pretty huge news! I did a bit of digging, and found MEF's blog http://teamstrike.blog90.fc2.com/ The top post is an announcement that they've been liscensed to product Macross goods in honor of the its 30th aniversary. Ghost and Lancer garage kits are officialy announced, along with a promise of more to come. No scales, dates, or prices are mentioned. Even though I have resin kits of both of them in 1/72, I'm pretty excited! Quote
Jasonc Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 If they do them in 1/60, I'm in, if not, I'll probably pass. Quote
