TheFrenchOne Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 I have customized the 2 pilots of an Hasegawa Weapon set in my Yamato 1/60 1A Max and 1A CF. The result is awesome enough that i would like to change some of the others 1/60 pliots by 1/72 ones. The problem is that i do not want to buy Weapon set only for the 2 pilots included. Is there any recaster who made 1/72 pilots ? Or planned to do it ? Quote
007-vf1 Posted December 2, 2003 Posted December 2, 2003 May be if you are nice enough to post some pics and convince us that indeed is worth doing this recasting, someone eventually will make them available for you. Quote
TheFrenchOne Posted December 3, 2003 Author Posted December 3, 2003 I have no num cam and no personnal scan but i will try to show you the dudes Quote
Phadeout Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 I thought of doing the same thing... I'm sure someone you know has a digi cam... even a crappy one. Heck, maybe they have a digi-cam-phone?! Quote
Coota0 Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 Did you get your pilots from thisSet, or another? I was thinking about doing the same thing, I really wanted a Navy flight crew because I want to do my as a U.S. Marine Corps fighter, but with a little different paint job these will do. Quote

I'm pretty sure he used one of the pilots from this set: Those other ones look cool too. They'd be nice for a diorama. Quote
Coota0 Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 My mistake, I guess I had just been thinking about my own project so long, I assumed, woops. Quote
EXO Posted December 3, 2003 Posted December 3, 2003 Those pilots are pretty popular for customs. Ive seen them in 1/55s and they'd probably look good in JMs. I haven't seen them in 1/60s though, do you have to amuputate them, and which 1/60s did you put them in. The earlier ones and the double seaters have limited seat space while the Supers and the Strike have more space for bigger pilots. Quote

Mount them to your 1/55s with magnets. Here's a whole thread started by Skull-1 about how to do it. http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?...&f=4&t=2021&hl= Quote
Valkyrie Posted December 6, 2003 Posted December 6, 2003 I've thought about recasting a set of 1/72 Valkyrie pilots, actually... I've got at least 5 different ones I could include in the set. And more if I include pilots from the YF-19 and 21 Would you guys be interested in something like that? Quote
TheFrenchOne Posted December 6, 2003 Author Posted December 6, 2003 Sorry for the late reply but it was hard to find a decent num cam, the result is quite fair IMO http://fr.f2.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/valkattack/ Valkyrie => Could be very interesting to change the pilots. Quote
