mqvu Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I was just wondering if anyone knows if we'll be seeing any toy reissues from Yamato or Bandai in celebration of the Macross 30th Anniversary in 2012. Specifically, I'd really like to see reissues of the Yamato 1/60 VF-1S with super & strike parts, the Bandai 1/60 YF-29, and perhaps some Bandai joke machines too I know all those could be found on eBay, but at ridiculously high prices Quote
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I HOPE we get the 1/55 Strike Valkyrie, Super O and ELINT. 1/55 is still my favorite VF-1 toy design. Takatoku rules. The aforementioned Strike Valk was teased for the Origin of Valkyrie line but wasn't released(image was shown at a toy show a few years back). Guessing it was planned then canned once sales didn't do well. Quote
1/1 LowViz Lurker Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 (edited) 30th anniversary valk should just be a 1/48 vf-1J with all the extra articulation of the 1/60 plus a gunpod that can act as a cigarette lighter. You get as an online exclusive the giant cigarette used by the zentradi who had it lit by a valk lighting it up with the gunpod. Edited December 30, 2011 by 1/1 LowViz Lurker Quote
Vi-RS Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 All I hope is Yamato will release some unassembled 1/60 VF-1 in low viz gray color. Quote

I used to have a full set off them once. Quote
treatment Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Ya never know. Maybe Bandai will finally reissue the 1/55 Strike-Hikaru, as well as the 1/55 Super-O and Elint. Maybe even reissue the old 1/55 GBP and 1D/M&M from their magical Takatoku vaults somewhere. Quote
Lolicon Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 A YF-29 reissue would be nice, as I have no desire to drop a car note on one. Quote
UN Spacy Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Yawn...reissues...let's get something new...like a 1/3000 TV SDF-1. Quote
505thAirborne Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Yawn...reissues...let's get something new...like a 1/3000 TV SDF-1. Word!! Quote
Uxi Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 All I hope is Yamato will release some unassembled 1/60 VF-1 in low viz gray color. Hell yeah! 1A and 1J heads in the same package would be dope. I'd probably get 3 Yawn...reissues...let's get something new...like a 1/3000 TV SDF-1. And this! I still want a hybrid of DYRL and SDF (mostly DYRL design and detail with TV arms and TV colors). Include the ARMD's as originally intended. Quote
Rusty Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 The VF-4 Lightning from Macross Flashback 2012 obviously Quote
Renato Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 The VF-4 Lightning from Macross Flashback 2012 obviously Not a reissue Quote
kanedaestes Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 I think that comment had more to do with someone saying they wanted something new this year instead of reissues. Quote
Rusty Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Xcuse, my feeling it was a new model on my collection, and i want a couple of reissues: a new scheme of a SV-51 and a low viz 1j Quote
Dobber Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 At one point, I believe Yamato was considering doing an SV-51 like my custom (see my sig. below) but it never panned out. I don't think the SV-51 sold very well. I would've loved to have seen a production of my splinter custom. Chris Quote
Mommar Posted December 31, 2011 Posted December 31, 2011 ...let's get something new...like a 1/3000 TV SDF-1. Fourthed! Quote
Bub Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 Hikaru Strike would be enough. Ostrich and Elint will make the 30th anniv grand. Quote
Jasonc Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 I'd love to see a reissue of the 1/60 VF-1 Max and Milia w/ super parts. They should also do a 1/60 Minmay guard, and as someone else said, a 1/60 Low-vis 1A. Quote
Old Man Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 ...They should also do a 1/60 Minmay guard... Yes please!!! Quote
Kyp Durron Posted January 1, 2012 Posted January 1, 2012 (edited) v2 /160 Vf-1J Stealth. Damn right, and a 1/60 version of the Low Vis, please. Fourthed! Fifthed! A REAL SDF-1 TV version, not some bastardized DYRL?/TV version, that won't cut it. -Kyp Edited January 1, 2012 by Kyp Durron Quote
Harlock Fan Posted January 3, 2012 Posted January 3, 2012 Max and Millia, Elintseeker, etc. 1/60 scale stuff and maybe some 1/55 goodness! Quote
VF-18S Hornet Posted January 4, 2012 Posted January 4, 2012 Yawn...reissues...let's get something new...like a 1/3000 TV SDF-1. Amen to that. Quote
Fortress_Maximus Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 Hikaru Strike would be enough. Ostrich and Elint will make the 30th anniv grand. Agreed! And the 1/55 GBP set would be nice too. Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted January 5, 2012 Posted January 5, 2012 All I hope is Yamato will release some unassembled 1/60 VF-1 in low viz gray color. I wish. Quote
Agent-GHQ Posted January 6, 2012 Posted January 6, 2012 All I hope is Yamato will release some unassembled 1/60 VF-1 in low viz gray color. Only if this reduces the retail unit price.... say $50- then I say hells yeah Quote
andrewzhang Posted January 8, 2012 Posted January 8, 2012 (edited) Hope V2 1/60 Elint & Ostrich can be reissued. Edited January 8, 2012 by andrewzhang Quote
MechTech Posted January 11, 2012 Posted January 11, 2012 Fourthed! Fifthed! I'm still waiting on a TV version of the Macross. - MT Quote
Ghost Train Posted January 12, 2012 Posted January 12, 2012 Not a reissue... but maybe a 1:1 scale battroid... make it transformable to 1-up the "actual-scale" Gundam they made for the 30th anniversary . Quote
Graham Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 A new toy and not a reissue, but the new VF-25S renewal version has the 30th Anniversary logo on the box (see the VF-25 toy thread for pics). Graham Quote
miriya Posted January 13, 2012 Posted January 13, 2012 (edited) A bandai 1/55 (chunky monkey) VF-1D would be a pretty spectacular 30th Anniversary item. Afterall it is the first VF-1 we see transform in SDFM. Edited January 13, 2012 by miriya Quote
