If it makes you feel any better I still feel like the nose is too needle-like in fighter mode. However, that seems to only be the case from certain specific angles.

I agree, from plan (top) view its too needle-like, but from the side view it looks dead on! I love it so far, except that they aren't doing the FB2012 paint scheme - ok, I'll complain about that!

This scan is smaller but it's not angled so we have a better perspective of the proportions in fighter mode.

Absolutely no complaints from me, Yamato is getting money on this one. The transformation process will be 2 tons of fun, but like Graham I'll keep this mostly in fighter mode anyways!

I assume this is one of the reasons that no visitors are allowed to snap any pictures in Shizuoka Hobby show. Anime Magazine who has the exclusive report from Yamato gets the rights to reveal it in advance?

I already said I won't buy it solely because of the (lack of) paint scheme. That count?

I do wonder if they really only plan on releasing one version of this, and will just include all sorts of marking stickers for it.

Either way, I'm sold, maybe for 2 depending on price. I just hope HLJ continues to sell the Yamato exclusives.
