myk Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 (edited) Remember we had to sit through woodstock 2.0, that 70's show, and the god awful Charlie's Angels movies. We deserve this its our retro turn! Now if we could only get Airwolf, and The Last Starfighter remakes. You mean Pepsistock? Edited November 28, 2011 by myk Quote
Dynaman Posted November 28, 2011 Posted November 28, 2011 and The Last Starfighter remakes. That is a movie that really might work as a remake, the original was not all that good and the effects of the time were not quite up to par, but with todays technology it would at least look great... Quote
Hikuro Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 Arnold needs a hair cut. And 12 less donuts. But that's me. Quote
BeyondTheGrave Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 I'm more excited for The Raid than this. Quote
myk Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 I dunno, I liked the Last Starfighter. You have to appreciate it for the 80's relic that it is... Quote
myk Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Was I too focused on watching the Avengers movie? I really hope I didn't see JCVD on the wrong side of the law... Quote
Agent ONE Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Was I too focused on watching the Avengers movie? I really hope I didn't see JCVD on the wrong side of the law... At least he is in it Quote
badboy00z Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 That's a whole lot of awesome! lol Arnie ripping the door off the Smart Car....hahah Quote
Uxi Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I liked the Expendables. Rambo was ok but outside of the action, I was disappoint. Looking forward to this one. Quote
Roy Focker Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 I can't wait for when all these guys are in the same nursing home. Quote
Chronocidal Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Coming May of 2020: EXPENDABLES 3: BINGO NIGHT! I would still watch it, and it would still be awesome. And full contact bingo would become a new national sport. I actually didn't see the first one of these, but I might have to watch them both. This sounds like just too much crazy awesome in one sitting to pass up. Quote
myk Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 At least he is in it And at least he's back to his high flying roundhouse kicks; I saw one of those land on Stallone! Quote
Roy Focker Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 That bit with them all walking in front of the helicopter as like a childhood dream come true. Quote
Hikuro Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 Not surprised Van Damme will be the baddie of this, seems fitting. This movie just screams it was written for every badass that has existed in old box office movies. Quote
BeyondTheGrave Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Still not excited like everyone else is. Quote
VFTF1 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Too bad my girlfriend doesn't want to come see this with me. We saw the first Expendables movie together - sort of by accident (we agreed to go to the cinema and see "whatever" was playing at the moment we walked in...) I've been trying to convince her - but she doesn't see the merits of this film :-) Women! Anyway - I'm very happy that this is being made. Stalone is awesome for putting this together! And it will be so good to see Arnold! Pete Quote

Dynaman Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 (edited) There will be other girlfriends... Eh, do what the wife and I do, we trade movies - I choose and then she chooses. Only requirement is making it a date night and dressing for it. So in 20 years if you see two old codgers making out in the back of a theater you know who it is! Oh yeah - My wife already knows this movie is a lock in... Edited June 4, 2012 by Dynaman Quote
Einherjar Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 My first thoughts after watching the trailer: It just needs a few more cameos and it would be the real thing. Quote
maglev Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Just watched this movie, definitely 100x better than the first. Quote
myk Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Which sounds like it would've been a complete disaster without him. Who the hell died and made Statham an action hero anyway-that guy bugs me... Quote
GMANIFESS Posted August 18, 2012 Posted August 18, 2012 Which sounds like it would've been a complete disaster without him. Who the hell died and made Statham an action hero anyway-that guy bugs me... He isn't my favorite either. But the Transporter series, plus a few other overseas action 'hits' like Crank, Snatch, Death Race all in the first decade from 2000 probably got him into the cast. Also he may be the only British action star that was NOT James Bond. Quote
