westfall Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 - yamato (naturally) - muramase and yukikaze in one page - cosmo zero - cosmo falcon - gaiderol - destoria - kelkapia - polmeria they're just orthographic views though, no interior or zoom detail. for that you need the earth book. btw, yamamoto just arrived, and she's lovely Thanks. I already have EARTH and have GARMILLAS on pre-order. Quote
Major Focker Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 you're welcome. curious, where did you place your order for the Garmillas book? it's already closed at HS and can't find it on HLJ nor amiami Quote
wm cheng Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 you're welcome. curious, where did you place your order for the Garmillas book? it's already closed at HS and can't find it on HLJ nor amiami Yes, where else can I get it - other than Amazon.jp? Quote
westfall Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 I made my pre-order at CDJapan. HLJ, if they do the same they did with Earth, will only have it listed really close to the release date. Quote
UN Spacy Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Juzo Okita up for preorder. It's under the Yamato Men's Collection so we should be getting more than one...riiiiiight? http://www.amiami.com/top/detail/detail?gcode=FIGURE-002618&page=top Quote
technoblue Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Thanks! My preorder is in. Okita is such a definitive character and I like the first-release bonus that comes with this figure. Quote
Major Focker Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 (edited) gorgeous and so are the pilots (not the one on the right of course) and these are just glorious edit: one more Yamamoto and more Yuki Edited October 12, 2013 by Major Focker Quote
Dynaman Posted October 13, 2013 Author Posted October 13, 2013 Seeing the CGI model is great but I HAVE to comment on the guy's finger hair, I have NEVER seen anything like it... Quote
Major Focker Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 okaaay... let's look at something more interesting than finger hair. Bellerophon from SSM found these and i thought i'd share them here: http://dorobou.blog.so-net.ne.jp/ i've bookmarked that site some years ago when he was building star destroyers. i really should drop by more often. the Haizerad seems to be paired with a very interesting companion, the assault dropship. i can't make out though what the carriers will be coming with sadly, still no mention of the Domelus release date Quote
Dobber Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 The carriers are coming with their respective fighter, dive-bomber, and torpedo plane. Chris Quote
Major Focker Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 but they are different types of craft, right? not just repaints? Quote
westfall Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 (edited) but they are different types of craft, right? not just repaints? If you've seen episodes 19 and 20 you know each carrier had a type of fighter. That's what's coming here. The first carrier to come out is the Lambea (purple) which carried the DMB87 Precision Bomber Then comes the Balgrey (green) with the DWG109 fighter and finally, the Schderg (blue) with the FWG97 Torpedo Bomber The kits will have a complement of several small 1/1000 scale planes, according to some sources, all 3 types of fighter with each kit. The mekakore kit is a larger version of the corresponding fighter. I have seen photos from the Hobby Show where the tags say the fighters are in 1/72 scale. Either those were scratchbuilt or, if that is the scale of these babies, it would help to explain the 7000+ yen price tag. EDIT: I just realised your question was about the actual carriers. While most of those are probably just moslded in diferent color plastic, each carrier has some sections that make them different from each other so, YES and NO Edited October 14, 2013 by westfall Quote
myk Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 What're the scales of the aforementioned Yamato girls? Quote
Major Focker Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 westfall, thanks. myk, i've read the girls are supposedly by Banpresto, which usually means non-scale. if they are Ichiban Kuji, then that's somewhere between 1/6 to 1/7, otherwise between 1/8 to 1/10. looks more like the latter size range to me. Quote
UN Spacy Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) What're the scales of the aforementioned Yamato girls? IIRC 1/10th...definitely smaller than MH's 1/8th lineup. Edited October 15, 2013 by UN Spacy Quote

sevreed Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 How many inches long is the new Chogokin 2199 Yamato going to be? Is it longer than a foot at least? Quote
mechaninac Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 (edited) The new GX-64 (Chogokin 2199 SB Yamato) is listed as approximately 425 mm on AmiAmi; that makes it just shy of 16.75 in, or 1.39 ft. Edited October 15, 2013 by mechaninac Quote
myk Posted October 16, 2013 Posted October 16, 2013 I don't have the other Chogokins or the Andromeda, so that GX64 sounds pretty big to me. This may be one big purchase worth making... Quote
Tochiro Posted October 18, 2013 Posted October 18, 2013 First were the changes between the theatrical screening of Ch.7 and the tv broadcast. Now theres also a bunch of new tweaks for the BD release. http://cocoon0901.blog.eonet.jp/default/2013/10/21997bdtv-2d88.html Top images are BD, bottom ones are tv broadcast. Quote
