505thAirborne Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Alice in Wonderland plus my Favorite Mobile Suit.... I like it!! Excellent job Drew! Quote
Mr March Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 You can see the image here, but it would still be really cool if you visited my page to read me babble about it and maybe give me an extra page hit or so. Wow! Another incredible piece! I'll head over to the site and check it out. Quote
the white drew carey Posted June 7, 2016 Author Posted June 7, 2016 I've started a new semi-regular art project. Follow the linky to check it out (it has a big animated gif and I don't want to clog MW by posting it here). Quote
Mr March Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 I like it! I too have always had fun with the natural pattern recognition that we all have. What almost as fun as seeing such patterns is how each person will see something different. A great project! Quote
the white drew carey Posted June 19, 2016 Author Posted June 19, 2016 Finished another one. As usual image is below, but it would be cool if you followed the link to my site to read about it (and give me some traffic)! http://www.asplenia-studios.com/blog/2016/06/19/gundam-0080-cast/ Quote
Mr March Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 It would be my pleasure! Such fine work, dude! Truly a real treat for us big fans. Quote
Kurisama Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 I've been absent from art for a while, decided to dust off this model and do a texture pass; https://www.artstation.com/artwork/A25km I think you'll notice the Macross influence Quote

the white drew carey Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 Just finished a new one, an SD version of my favorite mecha, Cruise Chaser Blassty. You can see a pic below but, as always, clicking this link helps me and my site stats. The purple background is just to help the eye differentiate between the mecha and the background (as Blassty has a lot of white).I'm also going to run a social media contest on Facebook starting later today, and will post the link once it is going. the white drew carey Posted August 10, 2016 Author Posted August 10, 2016 As promised, HERE is a link to the social media contest I am running to win a free t-shirt with this design. Please be sure to check it out, and enter! Quote
Kurisama Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 Amazing job Kurisama, it looks so lifelike! Thank you! I tried something new, and relatively easy (DIY cel-shading) with that robot model this afternoon; https://sketchfab.com/models/a10bb15a573f4c6a94ab019d4bd6f5af Quote
the white drew carey Posted January 31, 2017 Author Posted January 31, 2017 (edited) Back again. This time it is some artwork for a drawing competition at the school I work at. As usual, you can check it out below. But it would be really decent of you if you followed this link over to my website to read all about it, and see some close-up details, too. Thanks! (Sorry guys, I accidentally posted a low-res version of the image, but can't seem to remove it. I'll just make it really, really small) Â Â Edited January 31, 2017 by the white drew carey Remove image Quote
NeoverseOmega Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 I just started an internship with a Virtual Reality startup company in San Francisco - the characters, logos and poster art are my creations! Our game, Velocibeasts, is showing at GDC today and HTC seems interested! I'm not sure if I'm allowed to plug something directly here, but if nothing else I'd like to show off a few of my beasties . pengbuzz Posted August 5, 2019 Posted August 5, 2019 Oh well, here goes; I can always delete it if needbe... I did this as a concept piece of what it would look like if a Transformers commercial from the 1980's had been done with Photoshop available. Since I can't animate anything to save my life, it became more of a "back-of-the-box-art" type of thing. Â Â Â Quote
