wm cheng
I guess this is the closest thing to off-topic, but this model absolutely blew me away! You have to look at the Youtube video of the moving and lit elements. Imagine if they did that for Macross city within SDF-1?! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1383532/Knuffingen-Airport-German-builds-worlds-largest-model-airport.html
peter
Holy cow, that blew me a way, thanks for posting! Virtually perfect....except that one bit the Emerites 777 backs up with it's wing over a fuel truck, haha! I think MechTech should expand on his Daedalus and build the rest of the Macross along with the rest of the island, all with minature angel birds flying overhead....the battle might be a bit too much Edited September 9, 2011 by peter
Knight26
That model is freaking insane, I half expected to see working bathroom facilities. I just wonder where planes go on it after the land, just taxi around and take back off or what?
Capt Hungry
Wow!! That is AMAZING! I saw something on the Discovery Channel one time about the place where that is, but it didn't really show the airport piece. I'd love to see that in person sometime.
