Benson13
I wouldn't, you can always find another red Rau to throw in the box. So.....any word on a new pilot to go in this new Rau? Edited August 3, 2012 by Benson13
Kurisama
My sets are waiting for your optional parts Holy crap... O_____0 Part of me feels guilty modding a figure included version. Still looks fun, though. (null) The figure that comes with the Rau - the face sculpt/features are shitty compared to the cm figure. In other news, the boots have been sanded, primed, sanded again and then had two and a bit coats of grey applied - they're looking GOOD. Pics soon. grapetang
This makes me really regret not picking up that other Rau for $30. Wait! Where can I get a Q-rau for $30?!??? My sets are waiting for your optional parts <envious> Holy crap... O_____0 The figure that comes with the Rau - the face sculpt/features are shitty compared to the cm figure. So true. We need a new pilot too!

Mommar
You've got 11C's with missiles on the wings now. You've damn near finished modding a 0C/D, you've got this crazy Rau with plans for a Nona (among others) as well AND you're strongly hinting at armor parts of the 11C and VF-0's. Please enjoy the WIP so far; The feet are finished - but as yet have not taken a pic of them. Time for beddy-byes now. Toodle-oo!

grapetang
Looking good! Are you using lacquers or enamels? Any problems sticking to the Q-Rau or the Shapeways parts? They are long out of stock, but Angolz was selling the new version for $32 about a year ago. http://www.angolz.co...ue-edition.html I manege to get one! I snooze, I lose. Glad you got one! So many options... Green, pink, etc. Ha! Just rub it in... Nice squad there! Working on tv version pilot, should exceed expectations. Stay tuned... ooo... Kurisama
Those look like some very clean castings, Feet & missile covers look great!! These are print-outs from shapeways! Although casting may be on the cards... I can't wait to see this thing assembled. Those parts look amazing. Me too man - I'm getting impatient! Looking good! Are you using lacquers or enamels? Any problems sticking to the Q-Rau or the Shapeways parts? No idea! I'm using tamiya sprays - had a glance at the can - where do i see which one it is? Tamiya primer sticks ok, much better after a sand and a second coat. In the photos below, u can see that I have to sand and paint several times to get a decent surface, and so far it's still not 100% smooth. ultraman zoffy
Is there a disassemble guide for the Q-Rau's on MW anywhere? Couldn't find one, but so far I've taken the legs apart on mine.... no idea how to take apart the upper body so I can get to painting it up for these parts.
