DarrinG Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 The visor needs to be gray but I do not want to spend the money on the special gray version. After looking at the head it looks like it could come apart fairly easily, I pried it a bit but then got nervous. Anyone have any thoughts? Quote
Shaorin Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 (edited) i dunno. i prefer the all-white look myself. this IS the Ichijo TV version we are discussing, correct? 1/60v.II? i don't see, however, why you would have to dismantle the head unit in order to paint the visor section. all one would really need is a bottle of TAMIYA COLOR XF-63 "GERMAN GREY" a fine brush, and a steady hand... Ignacio Ocamica Posted August 15, 2011 Posted August 15, 2011 I would mask the head and the clear visor (use hasegawa yellow masking tape and a x acto knife) and you should be ready to paint the visor grey As Shaorin said, there's no need to pry the head apart. Quote
