Black Valkyrie Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 May be Bandai might release it as a Tamashii Exclusive. Quote
Kurisama Posted October 30, 2011 Posted October 30, 2011 The YF-19 with '25 style boosters would have said boosters on the hips in Battroid... would look pretty sweet actually. Judging from the movie (frame by frame ) it seems to have reinforced shoulder joints too. Quote
twich Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 So do we have any new information for the release of the Yamato VF-19F/P variants? Have they been shelved? Thanks Twich Quote
Reïvaj Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 So do we have any new information for the release of the Yamato VF-19F/P variants? Have they been shelved? Thanks Twich No, but Yamato’s been advised to delay all the Macross7 related releases till the end of the year. Quote
Pierre Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 I am so going to customize the p but i figured we wont see them till 2013 Quote
valid Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 i dare to bet that bandai will made the customize vf 19 in the frontier show....hahahha Quote
Pierre Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 With the 19 being so popular they are losing out on money if they don't Quote
Scream Man Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Hey guys i could use some help so i got my Blazer today, and while transforming him, the leg got stuck, behind the intake near the wingroot. I couldnt get it to click down for GERWALk. i applied some force, and felt a pop; The pegs holding the wingroot had popped! Long story short, i dismantled the legd and got the wing root fixed, BUT, there is a piec i cant identify the position of. I think its the piece that makes the leg joint click. before i disassemble the OTHER leg in an attempt to figure out where it foes, has anyone else ever dismantled this joint, and if so where dos this small black piece go? thanks! Quote
Pierre Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 When you expand the gerwalk joint near the wing root joint on the lower half of the upper thigh i see a black peice there if you see a cavity on your's thats where it goes i think if you remove the screw on the inside of the upper thigh you will get to the area to reinstall the part Quote
Scream Man Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Ah I think I got it! Looks like it's fixed now. Phew! That was a relief! Well other than that, good toy! Quote

Archer Posted April 5, 2012 Posted April 5, 2012 Gah, those videos make me regret selling off my -19, but it couldn't be helped! Quote
M'Kyuun Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 Got my Blazer from HLJ on Monday. It's amazing...gorgeous, tight, and heftier than most Yamato valks due to the die-cast. Had to transform my YF-19 to compare. The YF-19 is still a sweet design, but the VF-19 is an improvement in every way. No regrets. One thing I did notice, however, is that, in fighter mode, the gunpod lifts the nose tires off the ground just a little bit. Anyone else have this issue? Quote

Anyone else have this issue? Did you compress the handguard (front underside) of the gunpod? Doing so gives the gunpod sufficient clearance off the ground in fighter mode. Chronocidal Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 It does help, but I wish it compressed even further, because unlike the Fire Valk, the VF-19's gun winds up pointing down pretty far in fighter mode. It's just because the crotch plate is so big sadly, and you really can't do anything about that without messing up battroid. Quote
Pierre Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 Argh just spent the money i was saving on the 19p for a max 22 for 150 shipped and a vf-1a cf with 6 of the series 1 blind figures for 145 shipped man this hobby is expensive Quote
kamadoma Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 ^ well I am also waiting for a 19P but I busted my money on other toys that I collect. I think we're still pretty safe since it hasn't been announced yet. Besides, it seems you got yourself a nice big loot. Quote
twich Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 I wonder that when they finally do release the VF-19P will they give it the GU-15 gunpod? Twich Quote
Pierre Posted April 14, 2012 Posted April 14, 2012 I hope so most resources say it has a gu-15 i wish it would come with a normal Pilot to Quote
Pierre Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 (edited) Happy with my latest arrival(kai). I think im going to put canards on my 19f when i get it http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/77642869@N05/7077666549/ Edited April 15, 2012 by Pierre Quote
Archer Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 I wonder when that hinted v.3 YF-19 will be announced. I had an inner hope that since they aren't doing Macross 7 stuff till near the end of the year, they would announce the v.3 YF-19 since it is a Macross Plus project. But since they have a VF-4 in the run to design, I guess it does make sense that they wouldn't start a brand new project... Quote

You know you could always go for the 19S/F... and if you aren't a fan of the stubby wings the P. That way you get the awesome engineering without all of that red. Quote
UN Spacy Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Expensive? The Kai can be easily found for 13,000 to 14,000 yen if you know where to look. Quote
Reïvaj Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Expensive? The Kai can be easily found for 13,000 to 14,000 yen if you know where to look. This is the cheapest still available one I could find around: http://www.hkcollectibles.com/macross-robotech/6958-vf-19-fire-valkyrie-basara-nekki.html Any advise? Quote
Chronocidal Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 Ah, they've got the VF-19S on sale as well, kind of tempted to get a second one to customize. Also, looks like Gamlin's VF-22 is really cheap right now. Quote
Swoosh Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 In last Dec, I got my VF-11B and M&M VF-22 for HKD698 each in a local shop, all 11B gone in an hour, but all VF-22 are still around the same price recently, VF-19 are around HKD1300-1400. Quote
Pierre Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I was wondering how many members were planning. On getting the vf-19p just to customize it Quote
Chronocidal Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Sad part is, I don't even want to customize a P.. I want a custom F model. Quote
Kurisama Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 I'm totes going to skull squadron my VF-19P. Quote
Chronocidal Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 See, I really want to make a white VF-19F with black stripes, similar to the master file scheme. I think it's just beautiful. The VF-19P is going to be white-ish, so it's a good start, but there's a significant number of parts I'd have to swap out for an F model. The wings/wing gloves, shoulders, hip flaps, head, leg panels (though I actually like the YF-19 style strakes), and canard panel would all need to be replaced with pieces from an F, and that's a lot of blue plastic to paint white, even if I did want to buy a spare VF-19F just to kitbash, and I really don't want to spend that much. I really wish they'd just release an unpainted kit of the VF-19F/S, but given the complexity of this VF-19 design, I get the feeling that will never happen. Quote
Kurisama Posted April 16, 2012 Posted April 16, 2012 Best of luck to you if u manage to score the 19F (or 2!) - painting that much of the valkyrie in such a contrast to the original plastic - makes me break into a cold sweat. But yeah, that colour scheme is sexaaaaay. Quote
Pierre Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 Especially painting plastic with such a high gloss to it. Im going to take apart the 19p and give it a clear flat coat of paint before i change anything but that would be awesome scheme. After doing the p and f yamato really should consider releasing a master file vf-19f. Quote
Scream Man Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Im resurrecting this, because one should never stop talking about the 19's. Also now having the Master file, i would buy almost all of those paint schemes, especially a Skull Squadron, that cool Black/Gold lightning one, and the White/Red Cheyenne one. Quote
