Jefuemon Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Found this company while randomly surfing around. Pre-cut "dot" masking tape for digital cammo. Quote
neptunesurvey Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 It is also sold on HLJ and at Starshipmodeler. Quote
ultimateone Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 (edited) Looks like this Nice, but no substitute for time and effort. *EDIT - Not mine BTW, got it from the interweb. Edited July 20, 2011 by ultimateone Quote
Jasonc Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I have a couple sheets of those camo sticker sets, and they look like they'll work pretty good. However, I agree, making your own way is the best way. Quote
electric indigo Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 What's the point of applying digital camo to RL military hardware anyway? It looks cool, but it must be a pain to mask a tank or fighter, and I wonder which theory justifies that effort. I guess it makes sense on uniforms, where you can just print the pattern. Quote
thegunny Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Nice, but no substitute for time and effort. Time & effort? The tape doesn't apply itself Quote
ultimateone Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Time & effort? The tape doesn't apply itself QFT, good point. Quote
Kylwell Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Time & effort? The tape doesn't apply itself Yes, but unless you're willing to buy a huge amount of those sheets, it's cheaper to just cut up Tamiya tape. That's what Erin did on the F-16 seen above. and as a note, he did it twice. Didn't like the look of the first one so he stripped it and did it all again. Quote
thegunny Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I fail to see what cost has to do with it It took one sheet of the small & approx half a sheet of the large. 623Y all up, a real bank breaker Quote
