Still now an IM fan, since the 80s 😁.

I should have checked it earlier, it says video unavailable for me unfortunately.

I’ve loved Iron Maiden since I first heard them on the radio. Back then radio stations were a lot heavier than they were in the 90’s and beyond. We would get the California stations like KNAC and Pirate Radio 100.3 being my favorites out here in Southern California and they’d play songs like Two Minutes to Midnight, and Run to the Hills, and Flight of Icarus regularly. I miss those old stations before the big alternative takeover that dulled out rock radio.

Finally found this on YouTube.

Favorite live version of this song:

Didn’t realize it was The Edge belting at the end of the song. . . until today. 🤯

Back in the “file sharing” :db: days, I actually made a mixed CD of a bunch of their live songs (with maybe two lesser known album tracks added to make the songs flow together).

Bad and Stay are two where the live versions are infinitely better than the album versions.

There’s a few bands where the live version of a song is far better than the album version. Back in the day I would say any live UFO song on their live recordings sounded like there was more energy than the album versions even though the albums were great or a modern example I would definitely pick would be Kaisarion by Ghost. The album version is great, but the live version puts more of an emphasis on the female singers during the chorus making a completely different sound. I remember Kiss had Rock’n Roll all Night on the old album was considered a flop, but it was a massive hit when they did the Alive album and gave the song a second chance at life.

Damn you, Wednesday Addams! :D

At least, it’s exposing folks to kick-ass classical pieces:

Speaking of Batman movies, an obscure live version of this forgotten track (from a not-so-good movie):

Warning:  a little bit o’ potty language at the start. :pardon:
