I won't give you crap for posting it, but if you want to go "oldschool", THIS performance blows both of yours out of the water. I show it to kids in History when I am doing the emergence of Rock and Roll in the 1950's....... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3haYAbqKjA&feature=related Quote

Jefuemon Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Original http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyoDbX1EkPQ VS. cover Discuss. I myself like both. I judge the worthiness of a karaoke establishment by if they have this song available or not. Quote
taksraven Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Original http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VyoDbX1EkPQ VS. cover Discuss. I myself like both. I judge the worthiness of a karaoke establishment by if they have this song available or not. Easy. I pretty much dismiss the Orgy version for the reason that it is a band trying to break through by riding on the coattails of a song that is already very successful. If they had chosen a lesser-known New Order song I would have been much more impressed. I have no problem with people wanting to listen to the Orgy version if they so desire, but I will stick with the original..... Quote
anime52k8 Posted October 7, 2011 Posted October 7, 2011 Original VS. cover Discuss. I myself like both. I judge the worthiness of a karaoke establishment by if they have this song available or not. Original, by far. Blue Monday one of those songs that's so good there's nothing you can do to it to make it any better. And on an unrelated note; god damn all of you. I've been listening to nothing but K-pop for the last week because of this thread. Quote
