I like the Metallica version a lot, but I also really love the old Diamond Head version from Lightning to the Nations, not as much on the follow up album or later rerecordings

That’s how you know it’s a classic metal band. When they’re too poor to buy a sandwich and the desperation leads to creating epic sounds because the struggle was real for them. Fame never really hit some bands the way it did for others, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t great

Sabaton is such a cheesy band that I get a smile every time I hear them. I especially love the memes when they anime put to songs like panzer elite.

The album I’m looking forward to is the new one from Iron Maiden. I absolutely love the video for writing on the wall. It’s about time the had a fully animated video that looks like it could have been a segment from Heavy Metal, and they just rereleased it earlier this week with sound effects
