peter Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Oh man, don't get me started on mouths....don't a couple of Valks from 7 have mouths? Quote
David Hingtgen Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 They don't move, they're just "carved into the head". (never seen a valk talk yet!) Quote
peter Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 They don't move, they're just "carved into the head". (never seen a valk talk yet!) True, I’ve never seen a Valk talk, haha, but somewhere in my twisted memory, I seem to recall a scene where it looks like Basara’s Valk is screaming....maybe it was just a bad dream. Quote
big F Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 So the big thing looming over the farm buildings is Unicron. I was hoping for bigger. Quote
azrael Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 So the big thing looming over the farm buildings is Unicron. I was hoping for bigger. You're kidding me, right? Quote
big F Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Well I always assumed that Cybertron was a bit bigger that our Moon, and Unicron was a similar size. So I was thinking if he came knocking on Earths door he'd be big enough that you'd see him comming. Quote
Scyla Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 It looks more like a scorpion to me. *hint hint* At least thats what the shape is looking for me. Quote
skullmilitia Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 You're kidding me, right? No, this a trilogy and the end starts to show that. The thing you see floating over Lockdown is probably another Decep monster like Shocky's driller. Quote
areaseven Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Here's the official promo video of this monstrosity. Quote

Twoducks Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 Toyfais pics of the new movie toys are up over at tfw2005. All the dinobots transform in the movie. The design for Grimlock in robot form actually looks very clean. It's the complete opposite of the train wreck shaped like a dino. Looks like it came from TF Prime. I kinda dig it. Very savage hero looking. http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/toy-fair-38/toy-fair-2014-transformers-from-hasbro-event-179295/ Quote
Dobber Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 I agree, that is probably the best looking Bay-Former! Chris Quote
Twoducks Posted February 15, 2014 Posted February 15, 2014 The black truck is: Galvatron... they really kill the Decepticons with those stupid all grey schemes. The ones on RotF at least had color... to bad the camera never bothered to stop a second to show them off. Quote
areaseven Posted February 18, 2014 Posted February 18, 2014 More reasons to not buy the movie toys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXk3a3F3Inw Quote
Gakken85 Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I'm sure the bot would be just as ugly hah Quote
areaseven Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 Okay, so there is hope for the movie toys. Leader Class Optimus Prime still sucks balls, though. the_foul_fowl Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 So the -Generations series will be collector-focused, while the RiD/main AOE line will be kiddie-focused: http://www.bwtf.com/events/toyfair-2014 It's an interesting read! The designs actually look quite decent. And Voyager Grimlock seems like the one to get. The samurai-theme looks good on Grimmy and the other bots! Quote
big F Posted February 19, 2014 Posted February 19, 2014 I guess unless you are 5 years old the figures are gonna suck. Here's hoping your parents are buying you leader class figures. Also am I to understand the only Dinobot to keep its G1 name will be Grimlock. Quote
GU-11 Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 That "evasion mode" Optimus is a voyager? All this while I thought it was leader class. Whatever slight interest I might have had in it is pretty much gone now, as it'll be out of scale with ROTF leader class Optimus. And someone has to tell Bay that the samurai are a class of warriors from Japan's feudal era, not China. Or is he going to make a joke out of Drift being culturally confused or something? Quote
David Hingtgen Posted February 20, 2014 Posted February 20, 2014 He made a joke out of Devastator's balls, so I don't put anything past him. Quote
areaseven Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 So you hate all that kibble on First Edition Prime. What do you do? According to this picture found on Facebook, you simply remove the parts so you can display Prime in both modes. Genius! Quote
Scyla Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Hey, the ripped off TFCs Idea! (Silverbolt *cough cough*) Quote
RD Blade Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 I'm sure he leaves his kibble in a garage in the movie. Quote

David Hingtgen Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 You could almost do that with Leader Jetfire. Only about a one-inch section is shared between modes. (But it was multi-pinned and critical) Quote
Old_Nash Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 (edited) The trailer of the movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhNZxdY9uXk#t=0 Ok Jack, lets go home... Edited March 5, 2014 by Old_Nash Quote
Kanedas Bike Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 Wow. I just want to know if Prime b!tch smacking Grimlock comes before or after he rides him like a horsie. -b. Quote
mikeszekely Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 The trailer of the movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhNZxdY9uXk#t=0 Ok Jack, lets go home... When Grimlock hits the ground after Prime knocks him around, the trees explode. For no reason. Well, no reason besides "It's Michael Bay." Quote

Who needs the Matrix when you have a DieHard laying around. -b. Quote
Vepariga Posted March 5, 2014 Posted March 5, 2014 haha, looks alright. better without Shia thats for sure. Quote

Well, after this I don't expect nothing of the Nonsense (Like Optimus have same design like a Gundam...) Quote
