Vi-RS Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 I'm glad that I've got myself 2 copies to begin with. Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 I'm glad that I've got myself 2 copies to begin with. Me too I wish I'd gotten two copies of the VF-1S Low Viz either!! Quote
peter Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 You WILL want it so badly Image from flickr member Joriel "Joz" Jimenez That's a nice shot....wish there were more pictures like this in the picture threads. Quote
Novacaine Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 All these amazing pictures motivated me to get out the tripod and take some pictures. I personally just love the elintseeker because it has so much going on. All that hardware somehow makes it look more realistic to me. You'll notice that mine has been outfitted with a few missiles for long range fire support. Quote
regult Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 (edited) Been looking for one for a while...they pop up here for sale occasionally but they seem to fetch a pretty hefty price. Were they limited when they came out? Will it be released again? Fuel my WANT by posting some cool Elint pics! There were two Yamato versions, and everyone just loves the V 2.0, profusely photographed here. The older V 1.0 also illustrated (with the window box) was less appealing. There was also a 1/55 Bandai version, but that one probably appeals only to those looking for vintage. Fellow member jenius has a comprehensive comparison of the VE-1s http://anymoon.com/blog/?p=4599 http://anymoon.com/blog/?p=194 go and explore his site! Edited June 15, 2011 by regult Quote
Raptor One Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 I always loved that Elintseeker boxart. Funny that the Yamato matches it waaay better than the Bandai ever did lol Quote
m0n5t3r Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 (edited) Graham, do you think Yamato may reissue this? haha... straight to the point. even better - "Graham, I think Yamato should reissue this." Edited June 15, 2011 by m0n5t3r Quote
Mechamaniac Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 Add me to the ranks of those who missed out and would like a reissue. Quote
dreadpyrat Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 I've got a kind of odd question and I hope no one takes any offense...who is Graham? His name comes up a lot and I believe he is a member as well... Quote
kanedaestes Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 This is Graham's site, his and Sean's. These guys gave us Macrossworld. Also Graham is our inside connection to Yamato so we have a nice direct feed to the company we get out stuff from. Quote
dreadpyrat Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 Ah, I knew he ran the site but the part about Yamato is new to me. Very cool! Thanks Graham, for MacrossWorld! In that case, Graham, can we start a petition to get a reish of the Elint? Quote

Anyone who came here without knowing shawn and graham should be banned forever.... http://www.macrossworld.com/ Quote
dreadpyrat Posted June 15, 2011 Author Posted June 15, 2011 Haha, touche. Like I said, it was the Yamato connection I didn't get. Graham, how did the Yamato connection come about? Anyone who came here without knowing shawn and graham should be banned forever.... http://www.macrossworld.com/ Quote
m0n5t3r Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 i heard he used to sell military ordnance and Yamato was looking for something to blow Bandai up... Quote
EXO Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 It is said that when a vampire bites Graham, he gains his humanity back. Quote
troyness Posted June 16, 2011 Posted June 16, 2011 Didn,t someone slip him a "mickey", and under the influence had an experience with an entire football team? Shame/"lose of face" prompted a name change to Graham and relocation to Hong Kong to start a new life? More battroid/gerwalk pics!! Quote
Loop Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 (edited) Didn,t someone slip him a "mickey", and under the influence had an experience with an entire football team? Shame/"lose of face" prompted a name change to Graham and relocation to Hong Kong to start a new life? More battroid/gerwalk pics!! Wow, we are way off topic now......... I have never even transformed my Elint, so I wont be taking any pics soon lol. Love it in jet mode ,I wish I would have bought 2 though. Edited July 5, 2011 by Loop Quote
Mommar Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Didn,t someone slip him a "mickey", and under the influence had an experience with an entire football team? Shame/"lose of face" prompted a name change to Graham and relocation to Hong Kong to start a new life? More battroid/gerwalk pics!! Sorry for the late response, I don't usually take/keep photos of my Valks but I thought I'd help you out with the Gerwalk photos as that mode is not represented as well here. Static pose just from a bunch of different angles. I don't have any stands to do anything fancier with. Quote
Raptor One Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Wow, Mommar. I always thought the Elintseeker was good-looking. But I never really wanted one until now Quote
closetgeek Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 very nice! i used to own this but i sold it to a good friend. now it makes me want to own it again lol Quote
Reïvaj Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 Really nice pictures, Mommar! This is a sexy bird indeed! Quote
Mommar Posted July 5, 2011 Posted July 5, 2011 The only official pics of the Elint you ever see are either Fighter or Battroid so that's what you usually see these toys in as well. I think all of the extra gear strapped to it in Gerwalk looks particularly striking. Quote
Swoosh Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 VE-1 VE-1 with FAST Pack and Electronics VE-1 GERWALK Quote
miriya Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 So sexy!!! I always love your photos swoosh! Digging yours too mommar! Quote
troyness Posted July 6, 2011 Posted July 6, 2011 Mommar + Swoosh thank-you very much!!!! I really must have this bird...aswell as the test + angelbird valks, the reissues can,t come soon enough...what the hell am I mean,t to do in the meantime?? Quote
kensei Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 If you want it bad enough, and it wasn't a limited edition, then it could happen. Remember the length of time we had to wait for the release of the 1/48 VF-1S Roy Focker? Quote
pud333 Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I want an Elint. Badly. C'mon Yamato! 30th anniversary release puh-lease! (Yeah right.) Quote
