Chronocidal Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 Wow... I would buy a second, if they would fix the borked up stupid spring-loaded wings. No one wants their collectibles exploding. Quote
derex3592 Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 No SH*T! For $30 each?! I need two for my office to hang from the ceiling LIKE NOW! Quote

No one wants their collectibles exploding. It would be perhaps cheaper to have a solid Tie fighter without those silly easily breaking spring loaded wings. With that said, if i had the money right now,it'd buy a few and glue them all up. Quote
Hikuro Posted January 18, 2020 Posted January 18, 2020 Is there really even a “solid” way to fix that? Mines still in pieces so I can’t hang it up with the rest of my goodies on the ceiling. Quote

After that you could probably replace the "launcher" portion of the wing strut with a long plastic or wooden shaft that extended deeper into the hull, and just secure it with a screw or something. As irritating as the springs are, having the wings remain removable is still a huge benefit for storage and transport. Quote

Chronocidal Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 Appears that OT Tie Fighter is back available, it wasn't appearing as in stock a while back. Went ahead and placed an order for a second one, with the hope that we eventually get a similar release of Vader's. That price is too good to pass up. Quote
sh9000 Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 The Black Series Luke and Landspeeder for $30 was a good deal. Quote
Black Valkyrie Posted February 18, 2020 Author Posted February 18, 2020 Through out the dacades I've completed my collection, mostly from the OT. Only one item remains The Millenium Falcon, I wish at least they should reissue the Vintage one, forget the current ones. Quote

Dorkside is free shipping on all orders $99 and more which is easy when other stuff is ordered together. No tax. Quote

I think tax is charged from an out of state web seller if the customer resides in a state that demands a tax be paid....retailer has no say unless they want to engage in illegal business practices.... If BBTS is charging you tax and Dorkside isn't...then BBTS may want to hear about it as that would be unfair competition/illegal Quote
sh9000 Posted February 20, 2020 Posted February 20, 2020 I’m pretty sure that Dorkside is not doing anything illegal. Quote
