Alphahorizon
I would be an extremely happy camper if toy companies would run some of thier releases in a cel shaded format.

Same here. Some KO companies are starting to make Cell Shaded Transformers. Mafex is the first officially licensed company I can think of to do it for their upcoming Spidey figure http://www.medicomtoy.co.jp/prod/dt/27/1/14450.html Edited October 16, 2019 by Slave IV
Alphahorizon
Not bad for an action figure. I admit I had been looking at the 3rd party TF Megatron/Prime Cel shaded versions...Megatron sold out quick. The VFs I have seen that others had commissioned do look pretty damn cool IMO. Just dont know if I would fork the ching on top of the already spendy cost of the Valks

I hate you for the simple fact you have that "Just Married" decal on yours that I DON't have on mine. It's from the 1:72 Hase kit isn't it? I almost bought the kit just for the decals! Yep I pilfered it from an ancient Hasegawa kit I got off Mandarake for 1000 yen, which is way cheaper than the third party decals on ebay. Of course the decal sheet was super old and took like 5 solid minutes to release from the sheet after dunking them in water. And they were rather brittle too; I broke a couple decals with normal gentle handling.

sqidd
Just un-boxed these M&M 1/48's along with a new YetStand. Not exactly the end product I'm looking for, but getting there. So many adjustment with the stand to explore. I was thinking last night M&M fighting back to back would be pretty fun.

vlenhoff
Can you imagine Macross' merchandise was going the way of the Transformers MPC. The airplanes would look worse with every release, and with less detail, lol. Great pictures @Saburo and @Lolicon! and others!

jenius
It's called "Virgin Road" VF-1D, it's a 1/60V2 that sold awful but has since become a unicorn.

Lolicon
Yep that's the two seater flown by Max & Miria in their wedding episode. Yamato was quite prolific in their heyday and I believe they released every VF-1 variant from the series at 1/60 scale except the green Alaska Base 1A. If Yamato had lasted just a little longer, I wonder if we would've gotten a VF-11MAXL? Edited October 22, 2019 by Lolicon
