I took a 1/48 vf-1s hikaru and painted it to look like the max version and then panellined it. It looks ok but it was ready tough. When I was done I was just relieved I didn't screw it up. VF-18S Hornet Posted August 12, 2012 Author Share Posted August 12, 2012 Well I got my VF-1A Mass Production type with the option parts didn't waste time putting some armor on this bird though it is the super pack I had used on my Vf-1S Max, didn't care cause I believe they are sold out of the packs anyway and plus they did not include any other sqaudron enblems for the fast packs. Of couse when I transform this into battroid mode the top and side coverers will be on and course the chair part will be shared with the VF-1J Hikaru once I get the armor back on. Probably runs around $100+ now, might find better deals on Mandarake though. Definitely the best Minmay figure released IMO, just don't like the fact she's kinda small (rated at 1/8 scale, but I think that's being a bit generous).
