What's up with the 1d head pointed downwards this time?

Getting strained after keeping the same pose at long lengths keeping sentry for renegade Zentradi?

Why does the one on the left have a harpoon gun? Is he hunting space whales?

Graham is the Hunter and Maria was his wife (co-pilot). Hence a civilian whale hunter custom VF-1A with a harpoon gun.

@nightmareB4macross, that is some impressive work, especially the movable seats!

And didn't Basara pilot the whale hunter valkyrie at one point before he got the VF-19P? Can't remember right now...

He did but it was a IIRC it was a VT-1C.

This is the second 1/20 scale vf-1.  The gerwalk model has been available for some time.

Here is the dedicated thread in the model sub-forum:

OMG, there is going to be a 1/20 scale VF-1?

It's a model kit.  It's huge and expensive, it features no articulation, no paint, and the detailing is somewhat inconsistent... but the shelf presence is undeniable.  B))

Shelf presence?  I don't think that would fit on any shelf that I own.

I wonder if these two are about the same size: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/64861

This is painted, but no articulation. Seem to have good detail but hard to be sure. If you have $1.5K to spare and the space to display it.

It is out of stock at BigBadToyStore.

I think that's smaller.

The Gerwalk is listed at 400mm tall and 600mm wide (according to the box sitting on my coffee table).

Kit is stupid expensive, cost almost as much as my PG Phenex, when you include the $150 in shipping.

I stop myself from getting that kit. The cost + space and skill required. Already have a huge backlog.

But it is surely nice. "Presence"! Especially with Anasazi's decal.

It was a real deal during Nippon Yasan's "free shipping" promotion, since that cut off about 1/3rd of the cost.
