Shaorin Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 has anyone ever heard of this? is it an official design or fan work? TAKEN FROM HERE; http://katsumix.zouri.jp/mokei_wf2010winter_repo.html Quote
azrael Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 It's a Wonder Festival 2010 custom kit (i.e. fan-kit, limited or no-sale at the show). Items at Wonder Festival are normally garage kits. If you wanted it, you would have to have gone to the show to get it or contact the builder. The Summer Wonder Festival is slated for July 24th. Quote
Jefuemon Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 Right now, there's 2 of them up for bids on Yahoo Japan Auctions. Quote
Renato Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 has anyone ever heard of this? is it an official design or fan work? Both. It is an official design from Flashback 2012, made into a kit by a fan. Quote
ahiachris Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 I'd seen the kit in person. Someone here in Hong Kong bought it from Japan Wonder Festival. He'd contracted someone here to build for him. Quote
TSP Posted June 4, 2011 Posted June 4, 2011 (edited) What's the scale of this? 1/5000. Here are some more detailed pictures taken by its sculptor Ufoman Edited June 4, 2011 by TSP Quote
nightmareB4macross Posted June 5, 2011 Posted June 5, 2011 Thanks for the info and link. That is trully amazing!!! Quote
Grayson72 Posted June 24, 2011 Posted June 24, 2011 Mr Mascato could have done it up better, I think the sculpt looks a little amaturish Quote
Guvava Posted June 27, 2011 Posted June 27, 2011 It would be cool to have a detailed 1/4000 version to go along with the Yellow Sub SDF-1 kit. Quote
TSP Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 back ...nice avatar... maybe one day I try to do another one made of FIMO. Quote
Kyp Durron Posted June 29, 2011 Posted June 29, 2011 Interesting that someone made a model of it, but I've always thought that design was hideous. -Kyp Quote
Shaorin Posted July 24, 2011 Author Posted July 24, 2011 (edited) Interesting that someone made a model of it, but I've always thought that design was hideous. -Kyp indeed. a profoundly weak design follow-up to the likes of the SDF-1, IMO, now that i have taken a good close look... Mercurial Morpheus Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Never saw the Megaroad so clearly. Never realized how odd she looked. Interesting project, though it almost looks sculpted out of Styrofoam. Quote
Reïvaj Posted July 26, 2011 Posted July 26, 2011 Here you are a pic with the original price at WF2010W, nearly half of the one up for bids on Yahoo Japan Auctions (http://page11.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/n80285565) Quote
baronv Posted July 30, 2011 Posted July 30, 2011 Still looks cool, wouldn't mind a vinyl CMS or gashapon version of it to just sit on top of a desktop. Quote
the white drew carey Posted August 1, 2011 Posted August 1, 2011 Yeah, I think that is a pretty weak interpretation of the Megaroad. It could be done a whole lot better. Quote
