charger69 Posted July 13, 2011 Author Posted July 13, 2011 I don't know about you, but I like knowing that it is coming along nicely, even if I can't see it. +1 Although, a bit of tease would be awesome!
Agent-GHQ Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I'm not familiar with this particular line of Macross. I'm old school, mind you! That said, what's the different between the S and D?

Renato Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I'm not familiar with this particular line of Macross. I'm old school, mind you! I think after 17 years, enough time has passed for M7 to qualify as "old school".
Mommar Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 (edited) With S first, they can release the Millia version without making a new mold for the head. Big deal. Did I say I don't mind a Max color 17S? It's not Cannon but I love Max and blue Valks so I'd probably wind up with one. Hey Graham, any idea if Yamato are designing this thing to take into account the fast packs? valhary Posted July 13, 2011 Posted July 13, 2011 I glad first release was the "s" because we can expect fix the problems for the "d version" which is what I really want
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 For those into magazines and hobby shows schedules, what would be the next most likely occasion for Yamato to show off prototype pics?
Shin Densetsu Kai 7.0 Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 For those into magazines and hobby shows schedules, what would be the next most likely occasion for Yamato to show off prototype pics? Wonderfest this month
Mommar Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 For those into magazines and hobby shows schedules, what would be the next most likely occasion for Yamato to show off prototype pics? CF18 mentioned WonderFest 2011 on July 24th. Here's hoping.
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Ah, thanks guys. Now I have a date to look forward to.
boyarque Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 ah dang......again, it's the year end toy rush. With the influx of new products from both Yamato and Bandai, I am again torn between buying a new valk like this Nightmare, or buying other older valks which would be on sale.... my wallet is crying either way...
Reïvaj Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Beauty under construction! Source: http://www.yamato-toys.com/event/201107/img/night.jpg
kurdt_the_goat Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 That says prototype at Wonderfest on 24th and Mr K will be there looking for feedback!
kanedaestes Posted July 16, 2011 Posted July 16, 2011 So I am rewatching M7 and is the VF-17 the same size as the VF-11? In the first ep is looked a little smaller in fighter
Max Jenius Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I can't wait! This is the first Valkyrie I've really wanted in a while! Plus, now that Yamato is doing M7, we can be sure to see a VF-19S Blazer (PLEASE?!?!)
eugimon Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 I can't wait! This is the first Valkyrie I've really wanted in a while! Plus, now that Yamato is doing M7, we can be sure to see a VF-19S Blazer (PLEASE?!?!) the vf-19 variants are confirmed
eugimon Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 Including VF-19P? well, the blazers. I'm not sure about the P and Graham said he's talked to Yamato about the RIDE variants so we'll see.
Old Man Posted July 20, 2011 Posted July 20, 2011 well, the blazers. I'm not sure about the P and Graham said he's talked to Yamato about the RIDE variants so we'll see. Dude, RIDE variants would be SICK!!!
Mommar Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 Dude, RIDE variants would be SICK!!! All Graham said was that he showed the VF-19's from The Ride to someone from Yamato who said they liked the designs. That's not confirmation of anything. Blazer, yes. Everything else, we don't know yet. You'd think a P would be pretty easy to pull off though so maybe.
Renato Posted July 21, 2011 Posted July 21, 2011 I can't say for sure, but I don't think they would ignore the P altogether, unless the Blazer really underperforms in sales. Besides, what good is that Gamlin VF-22 if you don't have the VF-19P next to it?
Reïvaj Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Mmmm... That poster in the background... A VF-19 with sound booster and a VF-17 maybe? Source: http://twitpic.com/5uyi6i/full

eugimon Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Cool, more vf-1 kits... please release one in the vf-x grey though.
505thAirborne Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Cool, more vf-1 kits... please release one in the vf-x grey though. +1
BlueMax Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Those focus on the VF-1 kits are not... the VF-1s. look at the pictures carefully: You have the Ko-Millia baby Pod, Battroid mode side-covers and the elevated pilot seat under the neck.
derex3592 Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 Those focus on the VF-1 kits are not... the VF-1s. look at the pictures carefully: You have the Ko-Millia baby Pod, Battroid mode side-covers and the elevated pilot seat under the neck. already got most of those....thanks EXO...
Jasonc Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 I like the neck and side covers, but I like Exo's design better, as it holds the shoulder piece in place. I do want that Komilia baby pod though. I've wanted that thing for a long time. Also, if they were promoting the VF-1 kit, I'd be in for more of those as well. They should make a kit for a two seater as well.

CF18 Posted July 24, 2011 Posted July 24, 2011 but they also have a picture and a sign featuring the 3 vf-1 kits. Yeah looks like they are selling unpainted version with VF-1A and VF-1J head.
Mommar Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Yeah looks like they are selling unpainted version with VF-1A and VF-1J head. Well that's cool, since I missed out on the unpainted 1S however... where's some effing VF-17 info?
Actar Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 Am I missing something or is this still the thread for the VF-17S? (^.^ Damn... Did Yamato have nothing to show?
kurdt_the_goat Posted July 25, 2011 Posted July 25, 2011 They showed something (a prototype i believe) but had no-photos allowed. Normally that doesn't stop people, & someone on twitter mentioned he saw ppl taking photos - just seems none have surfaced as yet
