Kurt Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 So I have this 1/48 VF-1J and GBP set that has been laying around. I would like to finally pull it out and put custom paint job on it. I have done the standard blue, urban camo, winter camo and a low vis camo before. Thought I would ask you folks what you would like to see. I am open to pretty much anything, so post your ideas....I need inspiration! Links to pictures would be great. Thanks! Quote
Vespaeda Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 How about these Belgian AF schemes... Kinda like Belgian AF fighters get p0wned by the JAM, if you ask me Quote
big F Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Well I was gonna say digital cammo, but seeing as how I got beat to it how about a Minmay Guard GBP scheme. Quote
Kurt Posted May 10, 2011 Author Posted May 10, 2011 I like the digital....I may lose my mind doing it, but I like it. I for sure want to do something that would be used in combat so I can beat it up. I don't have MG decals, although that would be cool. Quote
505thAirborne Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 VF-2 Vigilantes is a great paint scheme. I have a VF-0B in the same colors, looks wicked. Quote
Skull-1 Posted May 21, 2011 Posted May 21, 2011 (edited) Tiger Meet Scheme. Any one will do. Edited May 21, 2011 by Skull-1 Quote

mojacko Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 i soo like the digital camo...its soo challenging to do.... Quote
Flakpanzer Posted May 25, 2011 Posted May 25, 2011 I did that 19. To paint the digital camo is not difficult, you need a good masking tape (I use Tamiya), a good modeling knife with lots of brand new sharp replacement and a piece of glass. You have to put the masking tape in the glass, cut it and put the little square in the model. You have to change the knife almost every time that you put a new masking tape in the glass. Before you put any piece of masking on the glass, clean it with acetone or something like that. If you have any question, please let me know. Regards, Flak Quote
ultimateone Posted June 14, 2011 Posted June 14, 2011 I'm pretty partial to the urban camo seeing as how you did one for me, but what about a mural? Quote
ultimateone Posted July 4, 2011 Posted July 4, 2011 The huddled masses are curious, what was the final decision? Quote
