Here are some older crappy pictures that I took of my VF-19. The pictures really wash out most of the subtle weathering and panel grit that I put into this kit....one photo does kinda show it, but then of course you can also see the floor! Like I said in the VF-22S thread I suck at taking pictures of my models and most of my efforts usually get washed out...I tend to go for subtly in weahtering that I can't seem to ever get to show in my pictures. I'll atempt to take more but figured what the heck I'll show these till then. The scheme I used for this model is in the back of the Master File book. Interesting thing about this build is that only the Ejection seat stencils and UN Spacy markings are decals. The rest: Aircraft Number, Squadron number, Shamrock, and Intake warning markings are all hand painted. I couldn't find any low Vis decals that worked right so I just did it my self.

Good job on the build, looks nice!

What do you use for your "photo studio"? Here's what I've got for my set-up

I switch between a Fuji FinePix F70EXR and an older FinePix 2800Zoom for cameras. I'd like to get a DSLR, but can't really justify the price for just model photo taking. Do you use any photo editing software? I downloaded Photoscape, and like it. It's kind of bare-bones, but easy to use, does what I want it too, and it's free!

Photoscape from cnet downloads.

Dobber, if you don't want to put the money in a camera, just make sure there is a lot of light on the model, more than your eyes think is necessary, any camera does a better job when the subject is well lit.
