I think that is because Caesar decided to take the higher ground in his rebellion. There's still that evil looking Ape still and you know he's going to de-throne Caesar and turn humans in to their slaves under threat biting off their genitals.

Saw this tonight. What a great film. Thoroughly impressed with the effects, actors and plot. I may go see it again.

just came back from seeing it. Had a great time, it surprised me how much I enjoyed it despite having initially passed it off as "resident monkey".

Loved all the homages to the original movies.
