BoBe-Patt Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Solved the problem with the sdcc halo figs =] completed the series. How many Snake versions are there? There are two different versions out now. There was supposedly a sdcc exclusive version last year, but im not sure if it was just an early release or what. Quote
EXO Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 They're mostly 8 inches tall, but I noticed scale differences between some licenses. Quote
Kicker773 Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Can someone post of pic of the ones out of snake? I wanna make sure I don't accidentally buy doubles of one. thanks Quote
BoBe-Patt Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 Can someone post of pic of the ones out of snake? I wanna make sure I don't accidentally buy doubles of one. thanks So according to BBTS, they have a third one coming out soon. Here is what they have so far: Snake (Sneaking Suit Version) Snake (Jungle Version) Snake (Battle Dress Version) Quote
Kicker773 Posted August 24, 2011 Posted August 24, 2011 So I only have the battle version.. hmm.. gotta start looking for the other two.. Quote
Jeremy007 Posted August 25, 2011 Posted August 25, 2011 that cyborg ninja is a beautiful figure. Quote
protostar8 Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 Wow, both Cyborg Ninja and Snake are amazing... Quote
macrossnake Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 When will the Grey Fox and Snake figures out? I want them badly! Quote
UN Spacy Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I haven't beaten a Final Fantasy since VII. But this figure from XIII-2 looks superb. http://www.amiami.jp/shop/?set=english&vgForm=ProductInfo&sku=FIG-MOE-4051&template=default/product/e_display.html Quote
Lynx7725 Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 FWIW, HLJ has Lightning up for pre-orders. She does look good. Quote
Negotiator Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 The hair and face on the new lightning looks a lot better. Definitely going to pick her up. Quote
SuperHobo Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 That lightning figure will be my first female action figure ever. I knew this road would be inevitable. Quote
kanedaestes Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 I have the original and I like it alot, I also have a Snow which a great hefty fig, and I got Shiva for him too. Unfortunately there are parts on Shiva that are easy to break, but having Snow and Shiva on a shelf just commands attention. Quote
wolfx Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 The gunsword doesn't look like it changes modes Should've at least had one in sword mode. Quote
GU-11 Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I might just get Lightning...but Grayfox is all kinds of awesome. I'm not enough of a MGS fan to collect the whole line, but a collection of Old Snake, Solidus, Cyborg Raiden, Grayfox and Olga Gurlukovich [ninja suit worn in MSG2: Sons of Liberty] would be nice. kanedaestes Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 (edited) The gunsword doesn't look like it changes modes Should've at least had one in sword mode. For which one? the new one? It seems to be in sword mode. The original came with two, one for sword one for gun. Edit: Actually it looks like it is both at the same time, depending on how she holds it. BeyondTheGrave Posted March 2, 2012 Author Posted March 2, 2012 (edited) Raiden is getting a figure Edited March 2, 2012 by BeyondTheGrave Quote
GU-11 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 And it's the MGS Rising version, too. Nice. But considering the bad QC of my FF XIII-2 Lightning [bTW, her left ankle actually broke lately, currently held together by Blutack for display], I'm a little hesitant to buy another Playarts fig. Quote
anime52k8 Posted March 2, 2012 Posted March 2, 2012 I just picked up a playarts kai master chief, I think he's a pretty good figure. His ankles have an odd bit of play to them and I really think he should have come with a couple more accessories, but I really like it over all. Quote
Kicker773 Posted March 3, 2012 Posted March 3, 2012 My ninja came in yesterday and its blue is more darker and darker gold Quote
VF1A-FAN Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 (edited) Some pics of my Play Arts Kai Street Fighter Figures . . . . . . Edited March 11, 2012 by VF1A-FAN Quote
EXO Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 Want that chunli. But that knee joint is horrible. Quote
VF1A-FAN Posted March 11, 2012 Posted March 11, 2012 I agree about the knee joint. Still, these are some awesome figures! Love the poses you can get with them! Definitely better than what's been previously released as far as Street Fighter figures! Quote
GU-11 Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Wonder if Figma will eventually get the Street Fighter license? They do a much better job of hiding joints, or at least make them look less noticeable. Those Playarts knee joints don't look so bad on clothed legs, but on the bare flesh ones.... I was planning to get the upcoming Cammie fig, but the joints on the knees and hips just look so bad. Quote
southpaw Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) does the knee joint sorta acceptable when seeing it for real as oppose to just in pictures? Edited March 17, 2012 by southpaw Quote
GU-11 Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Yeah, they're pretty bad even in person. My FF XIII-2 Lightning fig has armor on her legs, and even that doesn't really mask the bad knee joint design shen I try to get her in a kneeling pose. Quote
areaseven Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 does the knee joint sorta acceptable when seeing it for real as oppose to just in pictures? Is it necessary for you to quote every single image on your reply? Quote
