Macross Banpresto Puffy Stick Prize (with clear file)

We got one of each at Namco today.

Each bag of puffy sticks comes with 40 puff sticks, and a clear file.

Also for our effort the staff gave us two sets of promo clear files and two prize bags.

I am not sure the official name, but that's what we call the snack.

It's like corn buffs made into a shape of a baton. =)

According to Wikipedia, it's called Umaibō, which means delicious stick.

What's a puff stick?

it's some sort of candy with a pervy cross dressing DORAEMON-ish cat chara on the packaging,

and it probably tastes something like 20-year-old cotton candy.

that, or perhaps it's some form of aphrodisiac...

ah, stand corrected. the "Umai-bo 1-12+" were a mainstay of the cooking creation skill

in the SQUARE-ENIX "STAR OCEAN" RPG series, of which there has been about seven entries so far

from 1996/2009;
