Ghost Train Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I'm sure a lot of people have been waiting for this one. Source April release. Quote
one_klump Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 ohh, if we are opening up that can of worms, I want an Anubis model as well... Quote
mikeszekely Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Models are ok, but I want another sequel. Preferably one I don't finish in a single three-hour session. Quote
wolfx Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 why a dedicated thread for this? Anyway i'm not impressed. Looks kinda beefy/fat. Why a dedicated thread for this? Anyway, not really impressed, looks kinda fat and beefy. Quote
BeyondTheGrave Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 ohh, if we are opening up that can of worms, I want an Anubis model as well... That and a Vic viper model and Nephtis. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 Nephtis (or Neith) would rock, and to a lesser degree, ArdJet. But really, the original Idolo I think is the coolest-looking one. (never liked the "ears and tail" of Anubis) Idolo could take out Jehuty in a second, and would "last for a while" against Anubis. Hathor I think would be an even combat match for Anubis if not actually superior, but the "foot wings" and head-crest remind me of an inverted Crescens. Quote
BeyondTheGrave Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) Idolo would be awesome. Just don't make Delores. Ugh.. I just started remembering how bad ZOE the series was. Edit A scale Zakat would created a lot of possibilities. Edited January 11, 2011 by BeyondTheGrave Quote
electric indigo Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 The Jehuty looks a bit underwhelming in his fatness; Kaiyodo already had delivered a better sculpt with their little garage kit. But really, the original Idolo I think is the coolest-looking one. Indeed. Quote
Nicaragua Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) Models are ok, but I want another sequel. Preferably one I don't finish in a single three-hour session. Hideo Kojima is working on an as yet unnamed new game - it could be a ZOE sequel. Edited January 11, 2011 by Nicaragua Quote
Gui Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 I'm sure a lot of people have been waiting for this one. Source April release. Looks really nice: /me wants ^^ Quote
shiroikaze Posted January 11, 2011 Posted January 11, 2011 (edited) That's great news and all but it doesn't look quite as stellar as I hoped it to be. Looks like a good time get Vash when this releases... if he's still around. Edited January 11, 2011 by shiroikaze Quote
Tober Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Has it been confirmed that this will be an actual Revoltech release? It looks more like a garage Revoltech joint kit. Looks great either way tho. Quote
one_klump Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I like how they incorporated the HUD as part of the figure. Quote
Ghost Train Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 More goodness to come? Vic Viper, yes please! Quote
macrossnake Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 More goodness to come? Vic Viper, yes please! Yes, but why needs to wait until 2012??? Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 A must have for me. It has everything I love in a mecha toy: Great design, fun to play with, sturdy construction and cheap to collect Quote
David Hingtgen Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Vic Viper? Pointless. Neith is FAR more important. ArdJet is a bit more important. And Idolo is cooler than all of them. Quote
BeyondTheGrave Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 What's a riobot? :/ A robot from Rio de Janeiro? Quote
one_klump Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Vic Viper is a must, and I love the Anubis frame. The lack of Neith and Ardjet are saddening tho. Quote
Lonely Soldier Boy Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Look at it this way: we have a line now and not just a one off toy. Maybe this is Kaiyodo's way to test the waters on these. Quote
David Hingtgen Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I wonder if 2012 means a new OVA or something, starring Anubis? (If there was a game coming, I think we'd have heard about it by now) Quote
reeoyuy Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 (edited) Riobot is a new toy line, not related to Revoltech. I forgot what company behind it but I'm sure it's not Kaiyodo. I only remember Dephine/Dirfinge from Break Blade being this line sole release. Anyway, now we have other choice for Jehuty than Revoltech. EDIT: Anubis: Zone of Enders is Japanese title for ZOE: 2nd Runner. So that poster of Riobot announcement include that title to tell us that they use designs from the 2nd game. Gui Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 I wonder if 2012 means a new OVA or something, starring Anubis? (If there was a game coming, I think we'd have heard about it by now) Didn't they announce a possible third game for the PS3 some months ago? Anyway, this toy looks awesome: really eager to get mine Quote
Ghost Train Posted February 7, 2011 Author Posted February 7, 2011 Riobot? To be honest, I was really excited at first, but the more I look at the sculpt the more I realize that it suffers from the same problems as other Revoltechs, sacrificing sleekness for joint mobility and extreme posability - which is why I've traditionally avoided the Revy Macross toys. Anyway, this toy looks awesome: really eager to get mine There has been talk about a 3rd game for quite some time. Hopes were up when MGS4 was released - as it was supposed to be the end of at least Solid Snake's story... but then they probably realized that the Metal Gear Cow was still lactating heavily. Quote
shiroikaze Posted February 8, 2011 Posted February 8, 2011 Well, the revoltech looks alot better than before--and it has bits! Has any pictures of the Riobot Jehuty surfaced yet? Quote

Oh well, I still have to play ZOE2, as well as the second ending of the GBA game: this will take some time and hopefully something positive will happen in the meanwhile. Quote
CAIN MKII Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 ZOE for PS3 is just awesome news and I will most certainly catch this Jehuty revo and pray for more. Thank you guys for the infos Quote
Gui Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 (edited) It has to be a typo. See? All it demanded was that we speak of it... It's a shy game: we just have to make it understand we really want it. Edited February 10, 2011 by Gui Quote
