robokochan Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 Check it out. Maybe one of the Mods can find this guys location and report him to the proper authorities! Check this thread THREAT Rob MN
Agent ONE Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 This guy was a normal posting member... I think maybe someone else was using his account. The threat is so obviously fake... A true killer wouldn't come here to brag, where no one would be connected to the actual victims. Only reason I know is at my Middle School, some dork brought his dads 357 to school and shot a few kids with it. He was braging for weeks before hand that he was going to do it, to people who would be directly affected.
EXO Posted November 25, 2003 Posted November 25, 2003 Read his posts and you'll see a pattern... He's crying for attn. in the wrong place. It's out of our hands, hopefully someone else helps him out.

Then, tomorrow, what happens when we read in the news that a 14 year old, from marywood country day school, has shot and killed some of his classmates. Sure, this is a long shot, but wouldn't it be better to err on the side of caution, possibly saving some lives, then doing nothing, and possibly allowing innocent people to die...

Who suggested not doing anything? I think it was just someone else screwing around... IE one of his friends who knows his MW password.

You guys prolly came up with the same conclusions. 3 years of homeschooling could not prepare this person for the harsh realities of life. School kids could be merciless when they find this out. as for the threat, whether it was done by him or someone else, has got to be taken seriously.

Ok, you may not have suggested directly that nothing should be done, but at least when I read your first response, it sounded like you weren't taking his post seriously - 'The threat is so obviously fake... A true killer wouldn't come here to brag, where no one would be connected to the actual victims.' Though you may not have meant for your original post to come off in that manner, this is a text base communication medium, and posts can be interpreted in ways the original poster hadn't intended...
Mechamaniac Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 Bottom line... an ounce of prevention....blah blah.

Yeah, but Agent One didn't post that until 2 hours after Shawn had already contacted the school.
Commander McBride Posted November 26, 2003 Posted November 26, 2003 Just using my detective skills.... It looks like he was on MW on a computer in class, or in a computer lab, and left the computer unattended for some reason. As kids are apt to do, one came in, and noticing that it was still signed in, decided to post up the incoherent message we see here.

Yeah, my first post was speaking from the stadpoint of analyzing a past threat (as Shawn had already called the school), not a current one.

"what!?" some one had sent an email to EVERYONE in my emailing list (family, friends, employers, the works!) stating that i was indeed a homosexual. yikes, whats worse is most of them believed it guess i hadn't been acting manly enough or something what ever i personally think this "threat" should be reported to SOMEONE. but i don't know who. Vostok 7 Posted December 10, 2003 Posted December 10, 2003 Not to beat a dead horse, but look what made news...12 Year Old Threatens Killing Spree Is that the same one? Vostok 7
Lightning Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 nope, different school, all the way across the U.S., in Pittsburgh, the case on MW is in Cali.
fulcy Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 Sorry - didn't mean to insinuate that our case made the news - more of a similar case made the news...
muswp1 Posted December 11, 2003 Posted December 11, 2003 I am just glad in both cases, the one here and the one in PA, the authorities got alerted right away. The last thing I want to hear about is a repeat of Columbine. Nobody should be making threats like those. Hopefully zephyr and the kid in Pittsburg get whatever help they need.
