ahiachris Posted November 3, 2010 Posted November 3, 2010 (edited) Hi everyone, While the ground vehicles are still waiting to be cast. I'd started a new project a few months ago on a set of transkit for the Hasegawa Batteroid out from Neo-Grade kit. I'm hoping to shape it into a more anime version. I'd finally finished the armored parts for the left leg and am shaping the right leg now. I'd also roughly done the chest and hip armours and the armours for the fore arms. The shoulder launchers were roughly done also. Now let me share some pics. Edited March 26, 2011 by ahiachris Quote
cool8or Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 It looks great!!! I have it also, but I built it with minor modificatios. Quote
big F Posted November 4, 2010 Posted November 4, 2010 That kit was all over the place a few years ago, I put off buying one as I thought Hasegawa are bound to produce an official one, once they did the Vf0 GBP I thought it was certain. But still I wait.... Now nobody has them, Hasegawa have not stepped up and unless the 1/72 GBP kit from ARII/Imai gets re-released I wont even be able to hack one up to make it fit my Hasegawa as they are way to expensive and I', not chopping up my mib one. P.S add me to the kit maybe one day list Thank you for the info Big F. You're added to the "maybe" list too. Just finished adding details on the middle hip armour on the GBP-1. Will start detail up the two side hip armours next week. Some pics of how it looks when assembled with the legs. Might as well spray the primer on some of the parts that will be duplicating and send them to the caster. Quote
Cesar Enrique Posted April 7, 2011 Posted April 7, 2011 Wow, VERY nice. How`s it going? please, update. Quote
ahiachris Posted April 9, 2011 Author Posted April 9, 2011 Wow, VERY nice. How`s it going? please, update. Thanks for looking. Not much to update. Building models here in Hong Kong is almost impossible. With limited time and space , I only have a few hours at night building it. Still have to clear the table before I go to sleep... Here's some pics of the chest armour. Different angle of the chest armour with missile bay and door attached. I am thinking of having the option of building it the with the doors closed or open position. The missiles will not be installed with the doors close option. Quote
cool8or Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 This is great! You are getting the right looking! Quote
Reïvaj Posted April 12, 2011 Posted April 12, 2011 This is an amazing job, looking forward to seeing its evolution! May I ask where you get those minus mold bolts from? The ones you used for the chest armour. Quote

THOR Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 (edited) just wanted to make sure i'm on the list for this... way cool! Edited April 18, 2011 by THOR Quote
ahiachris Posted April 18, 2011 Author Posted April 18, 2011 just wanted to make sure i'm on the list for this... way cool! Thank you for all the interest and encouragments. Thor is now included in the "MayBeOneDay List" along with Cool8or, Jardann and BigF. I am really going to finish this project. The difficulty this one is as much as any others. The hard thing is to make it possible to fit on to the Hasegawa kit and then the possibility on casting them. Then decide on the right dimension and shape that is more closely ressemble to the original artwork. Panel lines and details were finally added after intense research on all the artworks I have gathered. After detailed inspection I can now begin to work on the right lower right armour. It's more challenging than the lower left armour plates due to the need to make them symmetric. Here are the pics: enjoy Christopher Quote
Ignacio Ocamica Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 Great custom!!! It's turning out really good. Quote
