Chronocidal Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 I just realized this, did they essentially stow the arms like the VF-9? I have one of these in my unopened pile that I plan to repaint. Quote
Bobby Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 That's pretty much what they did with the addition of the entire arms/shoulders on a 180˚ swivel apparatus to move its placement fore and aft along the body for the transformation. Quote

mcfly50 Posted September 6, 2021 Posted September 6, 2021 I just got back from Fallon and saw the Pete Mitchell jet. They still have it there. Heard lots of great stories about the filming and Tom Cruise at the O’Club. Looking forward to seeing this too. Quote

Because the way the Daily Mail wrote the article makes it sound like something important was lost instead of one of many prerelease copies. Quote

Typical, I use Adblocker Plus so I couldn't read the whole article. I was just checking online and it looks like Top Gun 2 is delayed until May 2022. Quote
TangledThorns Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 They really should have released the movie a year ago as I've already lost interest mainly because of the BS with Hollywood and China poisoning everything these days. I'll watch it on streaming but doubt I'll pay to see it in the theater. Quote

Robin-11 Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 To me the real problem with this movie is that, very likely, the first one is going to look more actual than the second chapter... Quote

THATS WHAT AM TALKING ABOUT! The only way it would suck is if there werent enough flight scenes!!🤪 Dont really care abt the backstories (which seems to be a re-hash of the original scene by scene!!) hmm feel like somehow bringing/renting a flight helmet into the cinema and putting it on during the flight scenes... apologies to the fella sitting behind. 😅 Quote
Big s Posted March 31, 2022 Posted March 31, 2022 Hope it comes with an unforgettable soundtrack otherwise it’s just gonna be ok. Quote

Raikkonen Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 Ok. With the Felon clearly shown in the trailer and along with the snowy mountains, are we to expect a dogfight near / in / against Russia? Quote

For what it's worth I knew what you were driving at. Looks like a terrible photoshop of Tom Cruise overlayed onto the one of the P-51 Mustang. Quote

Cruise does have his own P-51, and AFAIK, it is the one he flies in the movie. Quote

seti88 Posted May 7, 2022 Posted May 7, 2022 I saw a top gun trailer before the dr strange movie started and it seemed to not be like any of the other trailers shown before. There were much more aerial combat scenes between tom and the squad, with the push-ups as punishment. It was awesome with the wingman trying to tag tom whilst dogfighting with the other f-18! i dont know if that was an exclusive trailer...i cant seem to find it anywhere! Quote
