No, that never occurred to me...

It didn't occur to me until she gave that look after the test. Before that I was to busy wondering if they even used protection... I mean why even take a chance in bringing kids into that world. Either way, she should get the vet to undo the deed... not to start any of that type of conversation on this thread.

No, there's a twist, it's Merle's baby!

j/k

I also think it's Shane's kid. Who thinks about protection in the woods? Oh wait, Glenn does. :)

Whaddaya kidding me? It's Dale's kid!

BTW, that zombie seen wandering towards the ranch in the next-episode preview looks eerily like Daryl. Could it be...?

Freaking Glen. I wouldn't even think twice if a girl like Maggie was on the other end. On another note, too bad my asian brother blew it with her!!!! <_<

I wouldn't say he blew it. Maggie made it clear she wasn't looking for anything permanent. All things considered, he got all he's ever gonna get out of it. ^_^

That's because he got all crazy about it afterwards. And he asked her. HE ASKED HER how good it was! RRRRRR!!!! You can't be like that around them! Lol...

Hahah, true, true! Either way, I think he already blew it when they were riding into town, with his corny, "I'm a loner" lines.

I just see too much of myself in Glen-past and present, lol..

Wait, what? All this while, I thought that chick in your avatar was either your GF or waifu...or am I mistaken?

Having a girl in your life automatically elevates you above "Glenn class", my friend.

She is, but she represents the epitome of my evolution lol. Before her I was Glen 1.0. We first met as coworkers and she couldn't stand the sight of me. That's ok though, because in '06 (07?) when Casino Royale came out I tried to model myself after Daniel Craig and it had good results: a year later when we met again she still couldn't stand me but at least she respected me and agreed to start seeing me.

Seriously though, seeing baby/kid pics of yourself or listening to stories about your younger ways is NEVER a comfortable situation...

I hear you. But then, we all have our Glen moments.

Reminds me of that time when I tried to get the attention of this chick back in college...let's just say I was like Glen's doppelganger, complete with corny lines. Except I didn't even get laid... <_< Must be the lack of impending doom in the world.

Oh well, live and learn.

Ok I actually just saw the episode.

Glad to see that Daryl's still the consumate bad-ass; I get the feeling they may be trying to push him into Merle's disposition but I truly hope I'm wrong-he's my favorite character. And......I'm glad that I was doubly wrong about Glen. I've always said that once you've blown it with a girl it's "game over man! Game over!" but studies have shown that women are usually willing to give a man another chance even if the first encounter is completely blown. Also women constantly test a man's mettle, so I just hope he doesn't REALLY blow it.

Now, maybe I'm just being an AMC-Walking Dead fanboi but I believe this series is getting ready to shift into a higher gear...

Thought this was a really good episode. Just when Daryl was becoming a really likable guy they throw in a bit of the crazies. Great double kill by him though. Lol.

Yeah and Glen is stepping up. Kinda getting tired of the Rick, Shane and Lori triangle. Shane should just banging Andrea. She's hotter and she sure can snipe. Haha.

Of course she's pregnant with Shane's kid. She's been barely reunited with Rick for a few weeks.

A few weeks is way more than enough to make it ambiguous.

When are they gonna show what happened the Merle? Can't be bothered with Sophia's fate, but I kept hoping to at least see hints of where Merle went in each episode.

Looks like next week is a flashback episode. Atlanta gets naped!

Also, the barn burner shall commence! Light em if ya got em.

The Merle character was recently at one of the big comic-cons promoting the show, so we probably can expect his comeback to be the critical turn in this season.

Really looking forward to seeing how Daryl deals with this "them and us" dilemma. Knowing Merle, he's probably going to call for a wholesale massacre of those he sees as responsible for leaving him on that rooftop.

Yeah, on the one hand I don't want him softening up and becoming everybody's pal and even hero like he has over the last few episodes, on the other hand I don't want him to just become another Merle, either...

Just speculating here, but the way I see it, Daryl will probably put on an act of some kind in from of his brother and maybe leave with him to keep him away from the others. They way he'd bonding with everyone, it's not very likely he'll turn against them.

...unless Merle cooks up a story to get him on his side.

I dunno, I'm just waiting to find out how it all gets resolved.

Wha...? Sophia who? :p

She's in that barn, I tell ya!

Wait this was the last episode before the break? Argh. Absolutely nothing has happened with this story in six episodes. Although I did learn one valuable thing: it's VERY possible to bang the girl that just recently shared a traumatic experience with you...

Posted

I, myself, think that the show has stepped up since the moment Shane did his dastardly deed. And this episode had plenty of things going on. I'm really enjoying it again.

Did Carol forget that he kid is missing. I'd still be a wreck but last week she was throwing dinner parties and just going about business as usual. But seriously who cares, that's one storyline that really is unnecessary with everything else going on.

How long is the break gonna be? Just when things are getting interesting.

Posted

I actually fell asleep in the last episode.

I dunno, 6 episodes and it really hasn't gotten anywhere. They've moved from the highway to a farm, and that's it. Everyone is still alive, and the same minor and obvious revelations isn't enough for 6 six episodes. More happened in season 1 which was 6 episodes itself. Really slow...

Rick is fading horribly into the background with his repeating preaching. Only Shane and Darryl have really evolved, and are probably the only ones holding the show's interest.

Anyway, when looking at the cast list, I'm hoping to see the arrival of the comic's bigger and tougher leading characters after the break... Then hopefully the fun begins? Who knows, maybe they're doing the Breaking Bad thing of slowing it down completely before things become an endless gaunlet of tension and action?

Thankfully Terra Nova is moving at a faster pace at this stage... :)

Anyone else find the cock hungry Andrea annoying? lol

Yip. Such a pity cause in the comics she's cool, collective, never whined, and actually leads the team when Rick's not around.
