Ooooh... it's all dark and edgy. Nobody does that these days.

Reminds me of the "golden age" Superman sigil.

Then again, how many ways are there to put an 'S' inside a lop-sided pentagon?

I don't like how they got rid of the red underpants. Just doesn't look right without them. lol

I'm fine with them tossing the red underwear, but of the set photos of the costume, I'd really wish they would have slapped on a belt to break up the top from the bottom and so we don't have the unitard look.

I agree. Even the "New 52" look kept the belt.

I'm fine with the costumes...Except I still think Superman needs a belt to break up the unitard look.

Haven't been keeping up with Man of Steel news for a while.

Nice that they got rid of the red briefs. New suit looks good; like everyone else, I agree that it needs a belt.

Wonder who the suit with the female proportions belongs to.

Thanks for the info.

This Antje Traue chick who plays the character looks more like a tough chick heroinne than a villain, to be honest. Not cold enough. But that's just judging from one picture. Will have to wait for the movie to see if she manages to pull off a decent performance as a Kryptonian serial killer. That is, if Goyer follows (according to wikipedia) the character's original biography from Action Comics #471.

That said, and this is probably nostalgia talking, but I find Ursa from the Donner movies and more effective representation of source character.

Now that's the face of a beautiful, cold-hearted serial killer outer-fcuking-space.

Had a little Supes marathon yesterday. Saw I, II (Donner Edition), and Returns....I had completely forgotten Donner's ending in II was Superman flying fast around Earth to make time move backwards, AGAIN?!

I'll have to admit that was pretty cheesy. Basically he can reboot whenever he wants to make things right. Oh! I sneezed on Louis' skirt, brb need to fly fast and change the space-time continuum. <_<

Found a site that had the trailer for viewing...sadly its already been removed. It premieres with Batman this week. Here is an early synopsis of what was revealed:

Saw the longer of the two during my screening of DKR, and was strangely irritated that they used music from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. Not sure why, but it just bothered me.

Besides that I was kind of underwhelmed, teasers are supposed to do a better job of making you want more, this one just kind of made me ask "when the hell was Superman a fisherman?".

Standars now days, using music from others movies for tailers.

Very true, been the standard for awhile now. But that particular trailer with that particular music just irked me. No rhyme or reason to it. Hopefully they come out with a better teaser or trailer soon.

I thought the trailer was fantastic. Really doesn't feel like Snyder though... maybe Terrence Malick! I just wished they'd used slightly different music.

Have you seen some of these teaser trailers these days? The Dark Knight's teaser trailer only had voice-overs and logos. The Amazing Spider-man's teaser just showed him running on a roof till a building showed a reflection. This is on par to what other teasers have put out.
