I was wanting to purchase this item, but I was wondering if someone could tell me what kind of batteries it took, and how many of each. Also, if there was any place to find an English translation of the instruction manual. Thanks in advance.

You'll need two of 'N' size batteries and one of 'CR1216' type battery.

As for instruction 95% is pretty much self-explanatory just follow pictures.

The other 5% is where areas are little trickier, but still it is very simple construcion.

If you're good with building Master Grade Gundam kits, or any similar type of kits then you should have no problem.

(but I won't take any responsibility :p )

Thanks alot, I love building the MG kits, all the wiring involved in this kit is the only noticeable difference I've seen, Now I just need to track down those batteries. Thanks again.

Any good camera house will have those batteries (especially the N type) and you need 2 CR1216 batteries, one for each hand. The hands can be turned on separately. The armour locks on the arms are the switches.

I wouldn't call the kit MG standard, I reckon it's more like an oversized HG kit. It's pretty straight forward to build. The hype on HLJ is a bit OTT. Most of the so called 45 page instruction book is taken up with how to wire it up and the text is ten foot tall

It come out okay but I certainly wouldn't pay full price for one. I got mine for around 40% off when HLJ were off loading them a few years back.
