I got inspired from the sketches from Shoji Kawamori's Macross design book.

It's one of early design of gunpod, and I thought it will be cool to have Valkyrie to have

a different type of weapon other than standard gunpod.

It is full scratch built, but I used a handle grip and a tip of barrel from the original toy

Later I'm going to mold this and have some painted.

If anybody interested in this piece please give me a PM

That looks great MJ! I believe the lighter color looks better too, really nice detail work! - MT

Just got mine a coupla days ago...this thing is the absolute truth as far as presentation goes! Crisp detail, phenomenal paint app., the accolades could go on and on.

Nice work MJ indeed! If you still collect or have any 1/48 Valks, this is a must have. Glad to have this item in my collection.

Thank you mate, it is my pleasure.

If any of you have cool custom ideas or upgrades that you want let me know!

How about a giant gun to go with the TH?

Like the ZETA Gun or PG or VF22S Long beam rifle lol.. problem is how would the valk hold it... bazooka style perhaps? With multiple open hatches with missiles in it just like the GBP?
