Hello guys, I introduce to you my latest kit, the VF-19 Kai, a.k.a. Fire Valkyrie. This the 1/72 vynil kit from Wave. The pinup was extracted from the book VF-19 Master File. Painted with automotive acrylic paints. Shoulders are interchangeable, it have rare earth magnets. I hope do you like it!

Very very nice... the subtle weathering really adds to the model. Did you fill the legs with Plaster or something else?

Hello Big F. Give me a couple days and I'll post pics of the shoulders. It's quite simple, you'll only need 2 magnets.

It is nice to see this model that's actually built. This kit is discontinued and so hard to find. How's the paint staying on your model? I'm just worrying about that glossy coating. One problem about vinyl kit is that if you're not carefully washed the parts or didn't use proper type of paint, then the painted surface stays sticky.

I think I have two of these

One is on my to do pile which is about 30ish kits, and about ten years work at the speed I work at.

Life just keeps getting in the way.

From these series, I also have the VF-19S and the VF-17 battroids. I wish to be able to build it soon.

Me too the VF17 was the first kit I ever bought in Tokyo.

Since then I got two more and the VF 19S Blaster.

The Blaster is the harder to find one and I only have one so it wont get built unless I get a double. Although with prices well over $100 U.S that maybe never

Yeah, not my favorite valk, but the build and finish are top notch! Your work has become a highlight of MW. It's always great to see your projects. I know more of us would love to see some WIP from you too! The little details and the fantastic finish make it another great build. Well done!!!
