Actar
Don't know whether we need a separate topic for this, but... Yes, the VF Hi-Metal VF-1S Valkyrie with Strike Parts - November release, 6,500 Yen

Ignacio Ocamica
Glad I waited, this is the only 1/100 VF-1 I plan to buy. Well, I'll also get Hikaru's VF-1S Strike if it's available and not an exclusive. We need clearer scans

Graham
Would prefer Hikaru's VF-1S Strike Valk, but I may end up getting this. Graham

VFTF1
Most definitely happy to get this. Still waiting on my Hikaru, but got Basara. Roy will be a welcome addition. Pete
Bri
Haven't been convinced about the 1/100 line so far but this one looks too good to pass up.
jenius
Would prefer Hikaru's VF-1S Strike Valk, but I may end up getting this. Graham It may not be next in the queue but I suspect you'll get your wish eventually.
Ignacio Ocamica
It may not be next in the queue but I suspect you'll get your wish eventually. I should not say this, but I hope it's not going to be an exclusive!!!
stormshadow0621
Hmm... I always have a VF-1J and VF-1S in all the scales I collect (1/60 v1, 1/60 v2, 1/48, 1/55, revoltech) Guess I might need to get this too, now where to find the extra budget... Agent-GHQ
The itsy-bitsy tiny size is quite discouraging to add in my collection!
Funkenstein
This was expected. What I would love to see would be the SDP-1 version. That would be a total surprise.
jenius
I should not say this, but I hope it's not going to be an exclusive!!! Excellent... now I know who to blame if it is... muah haha. [sarcasm] OMG If this doesn't have individually removeable missiles on the super parts I am so not going to buy this partsforming piece of crap. [/sarcasm]
Tking22
Hell yeah I love my hi-metal VF-1J, I skipped on those fugly VF-19's so I gotta pick me up one of these, and here's to hoping they release some fast packs for our Hikaru's!!!!
Midi_Amp
Officially my early Christmas present! Hoping that the strike pack is removable... And is my eyes deceiving me? The gunpod in that fighter mode seems to be positioned lower than the VF-1J, making it pointing straight instead of nose pointing. Seems those slits are clear indication of the strike pack. Graham
Hell yeah I love my hi-metal VF-1J, skipped on I really regret not buying those fugly absolutely gorgeous VF-19's so I gotta pick me up one of these, and here's to hoping they release some fast packs for our Hikaru's!!!! There, corrected for you. Graham

Graham
Gotta say, that VF-1S Strike is looking nice (not as nice as the Blazer tho!). Graham

Tking22
There, corrected for you. Graham Sorry Graham it seems as if you made a typo, what I meant to say was I saved money by not buying those butt-fugly VF-19's .
ae_productions
I was trying to just keep my VF-1's to the 1:48 scale... But that is one damn nice looking toy! I head they're actually a larger scale than 1/100. Although, at that size, it probably doesn't make much of a difference. :-)
Midi_Amp
Big pic! Thanks... Worried about the backpack being loose if it's not locked with the extra strike pack weight. So it's either the backpack going to weigh very very light or Bandai put an extra locking mechanism on the VF-1S (please be the latter). Chronocidal
Umm... silly question, but what's the hot pink monster I see underneath the VF-1S in that ad? And back on topic, Wewt! I doubt I'll get many hi-metal VF-1s (if any), but I might pick this one up. The backpack connection does worry me a bit, but I'm impressed they actually went the extra mile and put the booster internals in there. Black Valkyrie
Nice, for sure I'll get this one.
Tack
Based on the pictures, it seems that the strike 1S lacks the standard stickers/tampo markings that we are all so used to: eg the Jolly rogers on the strike packs, the "UN SPACY" on the legs and the "001" on the nose cone. Note that the 1/100 1J had absolutely no stickers or decals except for the macross kite insignia on the nose and wings
eriku
I seems unreasonable to me to expect "no-step" "beware of blast" and "intake" tampo printing or decals of any kind on a 1/100 valk toy. They'd be microscopic.

They'd be microscopic. yeah, but the big fat "001" on the side of the nose and the Jolly Roger on the tails should be a given. also, maybe it's just the picture but the boosters look like they point out and up really dramatically. Horatio Positronic
I thought I'd be content with my Hi-Metal VF-1J and leaving the rest of these alone... I can't help myself, I'm pre-ordering the VF-1S strike.
jenius
Umm... silly question, but what's the hot pink monster I see underneath the VF-1S in that ad? Seriously, is that just spill over of the Koenig ad or is there a Monster product coming out?
eriku
yeah, but the big fat "001" on the side of the nose and the Jolly Roger on the tails should be a given. Well, who's to say those markings wont be on the production toy?
