chillyche Posted July 19, 2010 Posted July 19, 2010 Shameless, venturing outside of the thread... but you know what, what do you have to be ashamed of? Awesomeness? It's not a crime. I can't wait to see what comes next from you guys. Quote
SchizophrenicMC Posted July 22, 2010 Posted July 22, 2010 Why do my eyes keep focusing straight on the weird hip joint? Quote
Doktor Gonzo Posted July 23, 2010 Author Posted July 23, 2010 Why do my eyes keep focusing straight on the weird hip joint? Hmmm.... nosecone envy? J/k -- but the joint is pretty standard and lineart accurate (check out http://www.collectiondx.com/gallery2/gallery/d/457358-1/vf-1-transformation5.gif vs http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=78005), and also the straight-on render at http://homepages.nyu.edu/~pfb206/bat-toy.jpg).... I think it looks a little strange due to the very wide-angle lens I rendered the image with, in order to get maximum foreshortening and the kind of leggy, dynamic presentation you see at the end of the Macross opening credits. Rodavan Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 No nosecone envy here , just a "skills" envy ...... Good work Doc Quote
