neptunesurvey Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 None of the instructions will load for me. Quote
captain america Posted July 7, 2010 Author Posted July 7, 2010 None of the instructions will load for me. They're all jpeg images. If you can't read them, LMK what format works better for you and I'll e-mail. Quote
Ranger565 Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I am having the same issue. John if you have my emial any format will be fine. Carl Quote
cobywan Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I can't imagine anything more universally readable than JPG. This is a great way to make PDF's for free. http://www.cutepdf.com/ Quote
ThunderChild Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 The files are just large in size, it takes a while to load... Quote

PM me with your addy and I'll shoot those off to you. It might very well be something related to "work safety" that blocks images from certain sites. I shall adapt and overcome Edited July 7, 2010 by captain america Quote
ultimateone Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Weird, the images download for me, but they seem like negatives of the original image with writing in black, etc. PM sent with e-mail addy. Quote
captain america Posted July 8, 2010 Author Posted July 8, 2010 Oh, and here's the addendum page. Just a few helpful hints and explanations; those who requested email versions should have this already. Quote

This is damn peculiar: I'm getting the same problem. When I uploaded the images originally, I was on my PC. Now I'm on my Mac and while the images look OK online, whether I download them back from MW or open the ones I transferred from my PC, they have that "negative" look to them. Must be something that didn't convert over properly somehow Quote
PetarB Posted July 12, 2010 Posted July 12, 2010 Hi John The reason this has occured is because you saved the JPGs in CMYK format. In Photoshop you need to convert them to RGB mode, or convert the original pics from CMYK to RGB mode by Image>mode>rgb + save. Some browsers can now view CMYK pics, but they are really for commercial printing. RGB is the colour format for web, for JPGS. Regards, Petar Quote

captain america Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Hi guys. I'm going to do a little test by week's end and post a RGB-converted sample of the instructions. Hopefully, this will cure the previous issues of the images appearing in negative. Quote
captain america Posted July 22, 2010 Author Posted July 22, 2010 Little test. Can you guys see/open this file? Quote

Cheers & Semper Fi- Jason No please don't. It was 15 minutes to run thu the process just to get these to print off. For the money we'll shelling out I'd prefer that instructions just come in the bloody box. All this monkey business getting these to roll off the printer just made me realize I never print off the Glaug instructions.... Edited July 26, 2010 by Heavy Melder Quote
cool8or Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 I never print off the Glaug instructions.... Don't worry about that, many of us have it. Just send me a PM with your email and I'll send the instructions to you. Quote
Ghadrack Posted September 28, 2010 Posted September 28, 2010 Kits are being received, bumping instructions so folks that didn't get a copy can print em out Quote
