1/72 YF-19

hi all,

this is my Hasegawa YF-19, I don't like the orginal color, so I painted it this way. This is great about sci-fi stuff, you can pretty much do what ever you want.

Lol! did you skip doing the leg decals? Those things are a pain I know XD Could be to match your custom paint scheme though. Anyway, I like the variable-sweep wing weathering

the yellow wing-tips, white nose cone, and gray splinter cammo looks spot on from the top.

actually I copied the color scheme from another model posted on hobbyfanatic, I didn't see the yellow underside

when I read "yellow" I was thinking about bright yellow.

Yellow/Aquila is the name of a fictional Erusean aggressor squadron from Ace Combat 04.

Actually I like the idea of a gray underside color. The yollow color wouldn't blend well with the spliter camo in Battroid form.

BTW if you're looking for a name for your Excalibur how about "Aquila 19"

I've never played the games, but look around, Ace combat really have awesome color schemes. Thinking about building a Su-27 next.
