Flakpanzer Posted June 13, 2010 Posted June 13, 2010 Hello guys, last night finally finish my YF-19. After I saw Cool8or's YF-19 y decided to finish mine (he started some months after me and he finished before me , shame on me I thought) and since he already did the Alpha One scheme I decided to made a new Macross what if. I painted whit model masters enamels, effects with Vallejos and weathering with Tamiya`s weathering kit. Quote

Graham Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Gorgeous custom paint scheme. But to be really nit-picky, only the YF-19 had the 2-peice canopy. Every VF-19 from the VF-19A onwards had a single piece canopy. Graham Quote

Gabe Q Posted July 26, 2010 Posted July 26, 2010 Awesome work! The paint job was definitely worth it. Quote

Thom Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 Awesome work! You have kudos for that tremendous amount of win! Quote
ae_productions Posted August 5, 2010 Posted August 5, 2010 That paint job must have taken forever! The end result is one unique, but amazing valk! Quote
Flakpanzer Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 Thanks for the words. Ae_productions, believe it or not it took me just one week to pain the five colors. Regards, Flak Quote
Valkyrie addict Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Only a week??? the digital camo must have been a masking nightmare to do... unless you had some cutout templates to help Increible las habilidades de ustedes en Chile tienen para hacer estos modelos con tanto detalle tan rapido y eficiente Quote
Remko Posted August 12, 2010 Posted August 12, 2010 Incredible craftmanship!! I never noticed the VF-19 has such a lifting body shape. I't really flat apart from the huge intakes/enginebays. Probably one of the coolest looking VF's ever. BTW, anybody here notices the similarities between the VF-19 and the "Mig-31 Firefox"... Striking!! Quote
nickster Posted September 7, 2010 Posted September 7, 2010 awesome digital camo!!!!!!! thanks for sharing and hope to see more of your builds in the future. Quote
